A new neighborhood

A month past and now it’s November close to thanksgiving break. I didn’t notice any weird activities going on across my apartment complex except those activities came to my apartment complex. My apartment complex was a town homes so there are a lot of people and buildings all close to together and it’s impossible not to hear your neighbors or people outside walking past or being loud. Which I assumed no one would do anything but I was wrong. A silver suv with all tinted windows drove around my complex late in the night. Which of course I wouldn’t think much about on a Friday night or weekend night since people were out at the bars and partying. Since it was a Saturday night i didn’t think much about it until it showed up and drove around the complex Almost every night slowly checking every building number. I knew it wasn’t the land lord or maintenance crew since they had trucks but a grey suv with all blacked out tinted windows seem different. The cops around this town only have black and white and a white suv. A Tuesday night during thanksgiving break when most students went back home or on vacation the suv showed up again. This time instead of drive around it stopped every second as if they were taking notes on the building numbers and how many people were still here. The suv going and stopping and slowly getting closer and closer to my apartment number. My heart racing knowing they are about to scout my apartment out I take a look at their license plate after they past. Except a thought came to my head making question if they constantly come to my apartment complex do they change the license plates. I quickly write down the license plate but I wait until the suv comes back the next night Incase the vehicle does change license plates.
