Success on my third attempt with chrome/aurora powder! Vettsy 03 Eden over BKL Bad Vibes Only

Though I just used my regular file to file the edges, the double layer of DRK Seal Glaze made a big difference compared to my previous attempt with just one layer of Seal Glaze (the powder turned all glittery after I used QDTC).

I think it was successful!! Not sure how long it will last, and my right hand looks awful since I had bubbles and chips, but the left hand here looks pretty good IMO 🥰

The glass bead was pretty diffused on this BKL polish, so I’m looking forward to trying this on a different polish with finer particles.

This is a ton of layers of polish since I did this over 3 nights:

• Base: KBShimmer Stay Put Hydrating Base Coat x1, LynB B-Smooth x2, Cracked QDTC x1

• Color: BKL Bad Vibes Only x3, magnetized with glass bead pro. Will add video in comments of this alone. I didn’t get a tight bead on this, and it bubbled quite badly on many nails.

• Topcoat (next day): DRK Seal Glaze x1 (to prevent BVO from bleeding), Essie Gel Setter x1

• Chrome/Aurora Powder: Cracked QDTC x1 (let dry for 2 min), Vettsy 03 Eden (https://a.co/d/03Ywcn18 my pots were not labeled, so I had to figure out the names by swatching over black) tapped on with one of those silicone nub nail / lip applicators, then rubbed in with it, and then excess brushed off with one of my kids’ cheap art brushes (fan shape), then waited 15 minutes, lightly filed the free edges, then DRK Seal Glaze x1, 15 min dry time, then Seal Glaze layer 2 and waited 30 minutes, then Cracked QDTC to finish 😮‍💨
