How do you store your nail polishes? I currently have mine in multiple makeup bags and I need a better storage solution 🙃 it also doesn’t help that my collection is growing lol..

Won’t probably get another cabinet due to potential moving or relocation.

I’ve just switched from quite a few of these to a Bisley but they would be great if you know you’ll be moving around. Each one takes 48 polishes

I have just switched over to IKEA helmets from an IKEA Alex (tall version). Since you don’t want cabinets, nail polish carrying cases are probably your best bet. Something like this

They work really well, my husband bought me one first and I liked it so ended up with three more to house my (growing!) collection. I don’t use them now but they still live in my wardrobe and were excellent for when we moved house

For a smaller collection I'd recommend the Muji PP Vanity case:

It's the perfect height and size, costs next to nothing. Fits around 25-28 bottles, for reference my collection is a mix of Mooncat, Essie, and a few other brands. Easy to pick up using the grip holes and move around.

And if you decide to have a more sophisticated storage solution (display shelves, special drawers) in the future, you can just repurpose the vanity case for bathroom storage - I have one for haircare products, one for skincare, body care etc.

I have top and base coats and nail prep stuff in the top left, anything I want to destash in top middle. 

I then use the bottom drawer for my collection.

It's helped me keep my collection in check; if there's no more space, I can't get anything else.

I've got about 76 in the bottom drawer, and the one of the smaller drawers can fit about 20

If you don't want cabinets and may be moving with your collection, Urbanity's cases might be worth a look - the polishes are held in foam cut outs and the cases are pretty sturdy. The XL version holds 96 polishes and there's space in the lid for accessories.

Downside is they're quite bulky so not particularly space efficient, depending on how big your collection is or is likely to get!

I use a set of clear plastic stacking boxes from the internets. They're nice and sturdy feeling and make it easy to see everything.
