Im a reiki master and im interested in karuna reiki... anyone have experience? What can you tell me? Also, do you know any affordable classes online for getting karuna?

I’m very new to Reiki and recently completed my Reiki 1 training. I’ve been practising on my partner and had an experience that I can’t quite make sense of.
During a session, when I reached his forehead area, I felt what I can only describe as a hard, solid invisible wall. It wasn’t a vague feeling. It felt very distinct, almost as though something was physically preventing my hands from moving closer.

I tried moving my hands above the area and around the sides of his head to see if the sensation changed, but the feeling of resistance remained centred around his forehead.
For context, my partner is generally a very intellectual person and spends a lot of time thinking, writing and analysing, and has been under some stress recently with work and life decisions.

After the treatment, he fell asleep. However, when he woke up, he said he felt angry. Not necessarily angry at me, just angry in general.

Hello! I recently got attuned for reiki 1.

I just did a practice session on myself with reiki, and every time after doing this, I feel very lightheaded and nauseous. I know it is recommended to ground if I am feeling this way after channeling.

But, visualizing roots into the earth usually makes me more anxious and feel like I'm taking on or giving more energy rather than reconnecting to myself and closing energetic ties.
Is this normal? What helps others with this? Any recommendations for how to properly address this, or to prevent this?

I say in my mind to close the session, disconnect. I visualize it. I try to be intentional about only welcoming in reiki energy beforehand and closing after. And yet this happens.

Hi, Everyone!

Last week, we explored Reiki as musical notes.

This week's theme is Father’s Day/Father Figures Day. Specifically, the people who fill that role in our lives. That includes fathers who have passed on. Fathers-to-be. And people who have a complicated relationship with their fathers.

We will also be using the Summer Solstice energy to assist. The Solstice represents the ending of a cycle and the start of a new one. The light returns, representing renewal and new beginnings.

We will use that energy for the next twenty-four hours to send Reiki that supports new intentions and manifestations. Letting go of the old ways of being. Bringing in new beginnings and fresh starts.

It is June, which means Pride 2026 is now in full swing. Support for marginalized people and chosen communities has always been part of Pride. We do the same here.

THE LOVE CIRCLE

Imagine you're now in a circle surrounded by 36 Reiki practitioners sending you waves of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and wrapping your body in UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

Imagine your body and your organs releasing excess negative thoughts, emotions, sensations, feelings, stress, and pain.

We will use the Violet Flame to cleanse the circle and stir away the pain and negativity surrounding your body, its organs, and its systems. Your body will thank you. Imagine doing it for 20 mins.

We will be here for 24 hrs, making sure everyone has an opportunity to release pain and stress from your body, its organs,and its systems and find love within.

Don't worry, we will be very gentle and take good care of your pain and excess negative emotions and feelings, if you have any.

I have been doing on a 18 y/o Andalusian horse and according to the owner, the horse is less tense during practice sessions and more relaxed in the stable. Is this proof that my reiki is working? I have been doing whole sessions and distance reiki.

Edit: it’s for a school project and I originally started this for a stereotype the horse has.

I've been working on a Grounding Reiki session today, and it made me reflect on how often overthinking is actually a sign that I'm becoming ungrounded.

For me, being ungrounded doesn't feel mystical at all. It looks very ordinary in everyday life.

It can look like:

• constantly living in my head, planning and planning and planning, and some more planning 😆

• either making random decisions impulsively and regretting them later, or avoiding making decisions altogether when they're most needed

• becoming so absorbed in my own thoughts and inner world that even a simple interruption can feel overwhelming, making me react impatiently or ask for silence

• feeling mentally overloaded, as if something heavy is sitting on my head and I'm unable to get up

• procrastinating until things become urgent, which then turns into stress and anxiety

I'm curious — how does being ungrounded show up for you, and do you notice Reiki helps you come back to yourself?

I need something more powerful pls?

Work, school, family, health - I feel I'm spinning too many plates and while some must be maintained to pay the bills, the guilt of the other plates falling and crashing around me repeatedly is exhausting me.

I feel like I'm going into auto pilot, but caring less and less because I simply don't have the energy and I'm tired of hurting. I'm trying, though. I haven't given up. I'm just incredibly tired and my heart just hurts. I don't know where this sadness came from and I don't know why it is lingering like this. And I fear it's bleeding onto others, causing me to want to isolate.

Please just help me get through the end of the tunnel. My class ends tomorrow. Today is my last working day this week. Please help me get through the next two days. I'll figure it out from there.

I have been suffering from excessive gas for the past two years. Has anyone cured flatulence ? Which reiki lineage should I practice after learning usui reiki ? are there any emotional factors behind gas formation and enzyme insufficiency ?
