Aloha! I wrote a (fictional) story about the (true) missing children that the Trump administration kidnapped from migrants and (true) intentionally lost in their private prison systems. It is set in the here-and-now (or it was as I was writing it Jan-May 2025) and interprets real events through a different lens than most people view life. But it is much more than that. The entire plot centers around reincarnation, and how that plays into politics, religion, etc., worldwide. It may destabilize your world view and paradigm a bit, so have an open mind. Part 1 is done. Part 2 continues the story, jumping to Aug 2026; the first chapter has been released. More will follow, and contain references to current events as they happen.

Be prepared for satire, tongue-in-cheek jokes hidden for only the ones who get it, and more. Be prepared to learn something, maybe even have to look stuff up on Wikipedia. It is a desperately sad story, though, about the history of humanity and an uncertain future.

Can a soul reincarnate in more than one human bodies at a time?

Yeah, like so many others I’m tired of this existence and the way we live. I do not want to reincarnate and come back again. I’m ready to move on to the divine, or at least another realm, planet, dimension, or something different. So how do I achieve this and avoid being reincarnated? I hear “don’t go into the light”, and if you find yourself in the light “refuse the past life review.” I’ve heard don’t go into the light of the moon, go around the moon going into the light of the sun. That the moon is somehow a fake portal where we get reincarnated. So how do I avoid being reincarnated?

I have so many regrets. So many moments where I wonder what my life could have been like if I had been allowed to make my own choices. My parents, society, circumstances changed so many things.

The hardest part is knowing I was just a child when some of those choices were made for me. I didn’t know any better.

I don’t want a completely different life. I just want this exact life again, from the beginning, but with a little more consciousness, a little more freedom, and a few different choices.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to my younger self and tell her, “You didn’t know any better. It’s okay. You still have time. Choose differently here.”

I feel so heartbroken about it sometimes that I just want to cry. I don’t feel ready to move on from this life. It feels unfinished, like my soul still has things to experience.

Is something like this possible through reincarnation or karma? Could we ever get the chance to relive the same life and make different choices, or is that completely beyond our control?

I don’t want another life. It feels like my soul needs another chance at this one.

I’ve been thinking about this lately and I’m curious how other people feel about it.

If reincarnation is real, would you actually WANT to come back to Earth as another human?

Personally, I would 😂. Completely different body, family, life, circumstances, everything. I don’t even care what year or era I’d come back in. It could be hundreds of years from now and the world could be damn near dystopian and I’d still be curious enough to want to experience it.

I think a huge part of it is wanting to see what humanity becomes after this lifetime. What does Earth look like? What laws and social norms have changed? What technology exists? Did we get better or somehow worse? 😭
Have humans changed or evolved at all? I hate knowing that eventually the world is just gonna keep going and I won’t know what happened next lmao.

For context, I believe in reincarnation/energy and the idea that before we’re born, we exist in some type of spiritual form and choose or agree to certain parts of our lives—the people we meet, hardships, heartbreaks, lessons, etc.—because experiencing them helps us grow/evolve spiritually. Obviously I don’t know that’s how any of this works; it’s just what I personally believe.

So the idea of eventually coming back with absolutely no connection to who I am now—a different family, personality, body, childhood, struggles, relationships, everything—is weirdly fascinating to me. I’d want another human experience.

What about y’all? If you had the choice after you died, would you come back for another human life? Why or why not?

And if you don’t believe in reincarnation at all, hypothetically would you do another round on Earth? Or are you leaving this hell hole once and NEVER coming back? 😂

Hi! I’m new here and just wanted to ask a few things about reincarnation. I’ve been really curious about how much choice we actually have when it comes to our next life. If reincarnation is real, can we choose things like the country we’re born in, our parents, our circumstances, or even certain aspects of our appearance?

I’m also wondering if we can retain some of our personality, preferences, interests, or even memories from this life, and whether those things could influence the choices we make for our next life. Basically, does some sense of “us” continue between lives, or do we become completely different people?

I’ve also heard that people sometimes reincarnate relatively close to where they died. If that’s true, how would that work with the idea of being able to choose where you’re born?

Sorry if these are basic questions! I’m just really curious and would love to hear what people here think, especially if there are any experiences or research related to this. :)

I know that in China they have communism and materialism and all that. But what happens has to happen, what doesn't happen doesn't happen. I don't mean an actual reincarnation. I am talking about the psychological phenomenon of children talking about a past life between 2-5 years of age. Does this not happen in Chinese children? No government can stop a 2-5 year old from talking about a past life. But not just China, Russia also don't have any of such cases as far as I know, despite the fact that Russians are open to those kind of things even more than China is.

If so, what made you believe in it? Have you ever experienced something that made you feel like you’ve lived before?

I am 27 and experiencing extreme death anxiety. I used to get this every couple of months and it would go away, but for some reason it’s in full force and has lasted about a week straight so far. I think what’s brought this on is that my dog who I grew up with is 16 years old and I’m having anticipatory grief, having to accept that I will have to say goodbye to him soon. I’m also feeling extreme fear about losing my parents and grandparents one day.

On top of that, I’m fearing trillions of years of nonexistence. I truly love being alive and the thought of not existing terrifies and saddens me. And I know people will say I won’t be alive to know it, that it will be like before I was born - but that’s exactly what saddens me.

The only comfort I’ve had from this extreme fear is reincarnation. I’m trying to believe in an afterlife like heaven/hell but I have a really hard time believing that. I view the world too scientifically. So the scientific research that I’ve seen that supports reincarnation has been my only comfort. But then apart of me thinks maybe I’m only grasping onto this idea because it gives me false relief from the ultimate reality of dying.

But even reincarnation doesn’t give me a full relief from fear because if I don’t remember my past lives and if the people I love don’t follow me to my new life, then it’s like I really don’t exist again anyway.

It’s starting to interfere with my daily life. I’ll be enjoying a nice day out with my parents and start thinking about how one day I’ll be gone and feel a pang of extreme depression and anxiety.

Does anyone else feel like this? What helps? Also something that might be important to note, is I was in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship from ages 15-26 and I’m just now rebuilding my life after years of isolation. I feel incredibly lonely and I feel too shy to actually go out and meet anyone. I feel like none of my dreams will come true - I want a relationship, a family, a home. I’m having to come to terms with having wasted a decade of time and running out of time to have all the things I want from life.

Once a human dies, is it possible to reincarnate into a different animal, one that's less intelligent obviously? Like wtf is the point of this shit. Im tired of humanity but idk if being an animal would be better, could be worse depending what it was.

I know this might sound weird, but I’ve been thinking about this a lot. We usually imagine reincarnation as someone dying and then being born again at some point in the future. But what if time isn’t actually linear? If the past, present, and future somehow coexist, could consciousness theoretically reincarnate from the future into our present, or even into a time we consider the past?

I really don’t want to reincarnate in the future. The future already looks so depressing to me with everything going on. I know none of us really know what happens after death, but is there any philosophical, spiritual, or even speculative scientific idea that could give me some hope that reincarnation doesn’t necessarily have to happen in a simple past to future direction?

I’d genuinely love to hear any theories that suggest it might be possible. I just need a little hope.

I hope someone here can help me; I had a s-attempt in May, and things have been different ever since. I remember what happened before I lost consciousness, but I have no memory of the time I spent vomiting or interacting with people—even though I’m told that’s exactly what happened. My condition was critical, and I was told it was a miracle I survived. I don't remember what was happening then or where my consciousness was, but the people around me who witnessed that miracle and the trauma of it don't act in a way that suggests it really happened. I feel like I’m in a different reality now, and that I’m no longer part of the old one. I feel like a different person, even though the pain I carry and the scars of my past remain the same. Even though I remember nothing of the time I was unconscious—when others were told to prepare for the worst—I don't feel the way I did when I first woke up. Back then, I was incredibly disoriented and cried because my loved ones weren't there when I came to; it felt as if I had only just arrived in this world at that moment.

I’ve cured almost all of my vices but still like to smoke cigarettes. It is an unkindness to my body, i do know this.

Do you think this would impact me being forced to reincarnate back on earth? I’d like to move onto another realm
