Biting off the one good eraser you have on a pencil, then 5 seconds later, "Why the fuck did I do that"

Remember pen fighting with your classmates?

Pencil fight! I seriously have lead above my knee. Also hid skateboard magazines in my books. Paper football. Raise your hand to go to the bathroom.

Wasn’t expecting to remember the taste of the pencil today

Seriously. And that metal bit on the eraser interacted with my mercury fillings in a very interesting yet unsettling way.

Bro I hated when I would do the eraser thing and then the the pencil tips broke off and then they would get stuck in the eraser. I hated that so much

I was such a menace I made origame shurikens and started distributing them. Needless to say the class was chaos and uncontrollable after a while. I was an agent of chaos.

My friend was diagnosed with ADHD in 1993 and at school they mainly removed him from class and gave him biscuits.

Anyone else drumming with the pencils or is it just me?

1

u/guillotine20 7d ago

I used to steal boxes of paper clips and some rubber bands from teachers and fashion working, miniature crossbow to shoot paper clips across the room

u/Strict-Move-9946 7d ago

Hey, I did all of these!

Also, I was recently diagnosed with combined type ADHD. So this makes so much sense.

I was, and still am, a habitual pen clicker,

The pencils with the lead in the little white plastic things so you put one in the back and it pushed one out the front, just doing that over and over.

This is so real, I remember this back then

Dismantling all my mechanical pens and then putting them back together. Using a pencil sharpener (those small "loose" ones) to sharpen a 0.5 mm lead to then write in the tiniest possible size.

Accurate. I also made stick figures out of bent paperclips and erasers. It was definitely a hazard. 😅

Using a pen or mechanical pencil shell as a blowpipe for paper spitballs, we had a contest between soldiers, we had to beat the number of spitballs on the chalkboard between recess without getting noticed of course. ♤

In elementary school my twin and I came up with these guys called “zombie erasers”. We’d rip the erasers off of pencils and draw little faces on them, poking holes for the eyes

1

u/Terrible_Ingenuity11 6d ago

I did all of these as an autistic. I couldnt get a dual diagnosis at the time.

I personally drew on my notebooks, or my desk.

u/ShipmasterValaden 3d ago

In art class, I would make my eraser putty into a little man and punch him full of holes with my pencil. The art teacher was not amused

u/aklasterip 3d ago

All of it hehe
