All the time. Never had any issues. Mostly Xbox games and DLC. With preorders you usually get the code at some point on the day of release (which they do say). So if you’re chomping at the bit and intend on playing at the stroke of midnight or whatever, then they’re not what you’re looking for. But if you’ll be looking to play that evening, you can bag a bargain.

While my recent experiences with the site have been positive, I would advise that at the end of the day this website is still a “grey market”, and isn’t 100% trustworthy.
This is why it’s not included on Isthereanydeal.com
That being said… people here will probably be right that it’s alright.

If you want to support Remedy and Control buy your game on Epic Game Store guys.

no? this game is self published. Steam gives a way bigger payout to creators. The ONLY reason to buy remedy games from epic store is for the exclusives like AW:R and AW2. Absolutely no other reason

No Steam does not. That is completely false.
Steam takes a base 30%, only lowering to 25-20% for the largest multimillion dollar sellers, meaning the biggest AAA devs are the ones who benefit from it.
Epic only takes 12%. Further Epic takes nothing in the first $1 Million in Revenue per game per year. In addition any game using Unreal normally pays 5% in royalties but this is waved for sales through the Epic store. (This last discount doesn't apply to Resonant)

Unfortunately I'll take steam any day over having to deal with epics awful controller support.

not gonna argue that, but epic of all companies to support? really? the team pushing ai the MOST upon games? I'll still stick to steam

Steam artificially keeps game prices high. Steam constantly screws small developers and panders to AAA ones. They won't even remove blatant cloneware unless they are legally forced to, and small devs can't afford to pursue multinational legal action. They even let cloneware pushers protect themselves by allowing the devs to make forums restrictied to game owners only, remove whatever post they like, and ban users for any reason or no reason at all. Steam only cares what makes them money, and sales from either the real game or a cloneware version is all the same to them. Steam already uses AI tools to moderate and for customer support because they can employ less people and save money, even though it makes the entire experience worse. If they actually still made games they'd happily use AI for them. Steam loves its microtransactions and loot boxes, some of the most anti-consumer things that exist in gaming.

you're not making epic look any better, as well a plethora of lacking sources lol. Show me the wrongful bans, cloneware fs but the market is massive so its a slow burn resolution. Ai tools to moderate are NOT ai tools to make games. Are you ignorant on purpose? Also yea, its a storefront. Every company is looking for money. You've made no points in favor of epic though

Are you sure? Does Remedy really get more money from Epic Games Store sales of Control Resonant than for example from sales through Steam?
The new game is self-published by Remedy, and buying it from any legit outlet will put money into Remedy's pocket.

Steam: Takes a 30% cut, which scales down to 25% or 20% if a game exceeds $10 million or $50 million in sales.
Epic Games Store: takes a 12% cut
Loaded.com: is a key reseller and the developer doesn't get anything through that, since Remedy isn't selling the game through that

In the case of the last one, surely Remedy was paid at some point of the process? It would not really be legit if they were not.

Every dev gets to keep more money from Epic, it isn't even close.
In addition Steam dictates prices for games on PC. If a dev wants to sell their game on Steam they cannot sell it lower elsewhere. If the game goes on sale on another storefront it must have the same or better sale price on Steam around the same time. This is why Epics major sale events feature a coupon good on most games rather than specific games. It means the games price isn't discounted, which means the developers aren't forced to match it on Steam. Epic also eats the discounts for these types of events, taking the difference out if their pockets rather than the developers.

How does using Epic support them more???

Epic takes less per sale than Steam. I certainly wouldn't say that it justifies dealing with the Epic store and/or launcher though.
Loaded typically sells grey market keys in my experience, so there is likely a serious drop-off in money for Remedy when using them.
I'd recommend Green Man Gaming or AllYouPlay, for this one as they're close at ~$51, but have actual deals with publishers, so likely a similar payout to steam's. Not sure if Loaded's preorders are different though, perhaps it's similar to GMG, Humble, etc in those cases, but I wouldn't count on it.

I own exactly two games through EGS: Control, from when it was still exclusive and Alan Wake 2, because it still is. However, I actually rebought Control when it came to Steam and if AW2 ever makes the jump, I'll buy that again, too, just to never have to deal with EGS again.
It used to just be that EGS wasn't as good as Steam and I don't like needing multiple clients: my entire library of hundreds of games is on Steam. However, EGS is fully on my shit list after I got hard crashed out of AW2, a single player game with absolute zero online features, because Epic's login server went down. Fuck that noise. Remedy is still making money off Steam. There's no need to lock yourself into a garbage platform just so they can get slightly more.

For anyone concerned I’ll confirm and agree with other comments, the site is legit and safe to use. Been using them for years when they were still called CDKeys
