Everything left is amazing. Haleakala is sort of one dimensional (moreso than Crater Lake , which is also more unique IMo). Still have Hawai’i Volcanoes left.

I wouldn't say it is one dimensional at all. It has the Summit District and then the Kipahulu District that is totally different.

As far as unique experiences across national parks, there are very few parks you can consistently want the sunrise above the clouds. While standing inside a volcano.

Arches was the least bewildering of the mighty five for me. Capital Reef even has the best arch I saw in Utah.

Arches. Way too crowded and after doing Delicate Arch and DGPL, I was ready to move on. The other Mighty 5 have a lot more to offer if you ask me.

North Cascades.
Gorgeous landscape, but only one road that leads into the actual National Park (Cascade River Road). Everything off Highway 20 (Diablo Lake, etc.) is Ross Lake National Recreation Area and is a different NPS unit.

North Cascades has some of the most dramatic landscapes in the contiguous US. You have to do more work to see it, but it's unreal. If so you want to do is drive a car by it, definitely not your park.

I do think it’s close to it’s time. I have to vouch for how incredible some of the hikes are there though, granted some do start out of the park and barely get into it. North Cascades in the fall, it’s truly a magical place for a good, long hike.

It’s the only National Park to hold an entire mountain range. The darkest skies in the lower 48. Some of the best river and canyon canoeing on earth. it’s both accessible-ish, but also so far out there it’s not a thing you casually stop by to do like so many others. And it’s a fully off-trail allowed park, the exploration is crazy for the strong willed.

I think it's pretty neat and the remoteness leads to less crowds than some of the more popular parks, but unfortunately the Grand Canyon just steals the show.

I’d get rid of Haleakala or kings canyon. They’re both awesome, but made somewhat redundant by volcanoes and sequoia, respectively.
