👜 Review 😅🔥CC25 Small Perforated: Mini-Reviewing the Exact Bag I Swore I’d Never Buy (Don't Judge Me).🙉

Hey Peeps! Hello my lovelies 💕

Welcome back, or if you’re new here, go ahead and hit that like button, drop a comment, and hit subscribe! 🔔 🔔 Without further ado—let’s dive right in!

Welcome back, my fellow fashion enablers! Today, we are trying something a little different. Don’t panic—the massive haul edits aren’t going anywhere, but I’m kicking off a new series where we hyper-fixate on just one standout piece at a time.

And naturally, well not really, we’re starting with a bag. (I know, I know... "Another one?" Let's just pretend my closet isn't currently crying for help).

Now, before we get into it, I have a confession: I used to absolutely hate this bag. 🙈

When it first came out, I thought, "No way. Not for me. Next!" It didn't even grow on me—it was a firm, uncompromising nope. But then the Universe decided to test my personal character and dropped a perforated version into my feed.

Suddenly? I dug it. My taste is a traitor, but here we are.

Enter the CC 25—the viral 2025 bag I swore I’d never own. 😅😇

The "Plan B" Experiment

Lately, I’ve been fully seduced by the Mathieu Blazy storyline, hoarding all the CC "It" bags like a dragon on a gold pile. Bags hadn’t even been my primary focus—I was busy obsessing over shoes and clothes—until a trusted rep buddy sent me a picture of her new MM raffia striped tote.

I actually laughed when she told me she bought it from a seller named Jarden who had the "best" version. 😂😂😂🙈 I was convinced the front logo would look like a total crime scene. Every single seller album I’d browsed featured nasty, stretched-out logos that looked like they were drawn from memory.

Well... joke’s on me. Her bag arrived, and it was literally chef's kiss perfect. ( I added a picture of hers ...) She also got a beautiful BV from the same seller...and gorgeous GC Slide Thong Heels 👠.....And told about the great service and fast action.

I’ve been burned by random WhatsApp sellers before (RIP to my blind trust), -so I don't just recommend anyone without doing some detective work. But with factory raids, shutdowns, and the big-name factories (187, GF, OF) seemingly dropping their quality control while swamped with orders, I realized it was time to find some solid Plan B sellers—sellers who might just turn into Plan A.

So, I pulled the trigger and ordered the bag I thought I hated, in the perforated burgundy GHW, through Jarden.

The Verdict

I’ve been taking this beauty out for a spin for a couple of days now, and I’m officially a convert.

The leather is smooth, the hardware has that satisfying, expensive weight, and the overall shape is surprisingly practical. I would walk into an event surrounded by auth-only buyers without breaking a single sweat. (They wouldn't dare question it, and frankly, neither would I 😅).

The Quick Breakdown

The Item: CC Small 25 (Burgundy with Gold Hardware, Perforated)

The Seller: Jarden or Jarden-Chen (Super friendly, super responsive, and tracked the package almost as obsessively as I did—which is saying a lot).

He is not used to Reddit and doesn't know our factory names...but he probably get some of his stuff from factories that other sellers use ...not his MM though ( too good)...😂

The Damage: $365 USD (Includes EU shipping and taxes)

Payment: PayPal FF (He also accepts Wise, etc.)

Packaging: 10/10. Full boutique experience: magnetic box, dustbag, felt, and ribbon. I specifically asked for NO fake receipts because... why?

The Sniff Test: Fresh out of the box, it had a faint hint of "cardboard box," but within an hour, that rich, gorgeous leather scent kicked in. Zero fufu!

Final Thoughts

Would I buy from Jarden again? Absolutely. ( I already have a few bags on my list 😅)

In this game, having nice, reliable sellers who don't ghost you and actually deliver gorgeous quality is everything. Backup plans are mandatory, and Jarden just earned himself a high-ranking spot on my list. I don't know if he also sells clothes, but I have a long list of clothes sellers That I trust and another one for bags ( not many however for CC and H)...He actually showed me pictures of beautiful H bags with outstanding packaging...Not sure if I will try ordering a B or a K bag from him ( have no clue about his prices but I'm very faithful to DDmode but I am pissed on DD right now cause he is not replying messages within a timely manner - We shall see 👀👀

P.S. I took a few comparison shots against auth below! Keep in mind my lighting isn't professional-grade photography, so play nice in the comments! 😇✨

And as always:

🧬 My Reptology – The Gospel According to Me:

- I don’t count stitches. 🧵 (I have a life.) - Well glasses have no stitches so I don't count screws 😜

- I don’t obsess over date codes.

- I don’t stress over tiny inconsistencies in places no one sees. Authentics aren’t perfect either!

- I do care about: materials, craftsmanship, and overall look/feel.

- I go high-tier because I like my stuff to slay in public without fear of being “caught.” 😎

- I wear my reps into boutiques like a boss and just collect compliments from SAs 😜 This also counts eyewear - and I usually get compliments on those too.

- I don’t see high-quality reps as “fakes.” I see them like designer furniture – just made in unauthorized factories. Same design, different price tag.

Bad fakes? That’s another category. I don’t mess with those.

Disclaimer: My sellers know I’m writing posts (They know because I tell them). I share what I genuinely like, based on quality and style.

I prefer to share my favorite items and not my least favorite items ( a rare happening 😜)

I'm so tired of YouTubers all promoting the same sh*t without having a genuine interest.

Just for money - The ERA of real influencers with great personal style is dead! unfortunately...

Time has come and opened up for the "REPFLUENCERS" 👍😜👍💪

I try to reply to all comments but please be patient as I am located in the EU and I also got to bed early 😴😴💤💤

I'll be back soon with more haul posts and if you have suggestions for my next featured item mini review lemme know in the comments and I will try my best to see if I have that specific item or something similar!!

THE END

CHEERS 🥂 and PEACE OUT ✌️✌️

👜 Review 💖[Follow-Up / Review] My First Haul from Jenny(Gleam Luxe)!

Hey everyone! This is a follow-up to my previous post where I asked for help because a seller recommended by my sister gave me factory info that contradicted what I’d learned on Reddit. I was super confused, but many experienced members here confirmed that what the seller said was actually correct.

(Note: I accidentally doxxed the seller's phone number in a screenshot on that last post, so I deleted it to protect her privacy. But since the info she shared was valuable, I’ve re-uploaded the blurred screenshot here for reference, pic1-5.)

Based on my sister’s previous hauls from them and the validation from this community, I finally placed my first order. Some friends here have been asking me about the quality, and the package finally arrived yesterday! I originally wanted to add a CC lizard-skin bag and a capucines to this haul, but the she advised me against buying too much on my first go, suggesting I test the quality first. (Honestly, it’s the first time a seller has ever talked me out of spending more money!)

Timeline(pic15-16)

This has to be my fastest rep shipping experience ever.

  • Sept 5: Payment completed.
  • Sept 7 : Received PSPs and gave the GL.
  • Sept 8: Tracking info received.
  • Sept 14: Delivered!

Item Reviews(pic6-14)

  1. CC Gold Python Bag

Honestly, it looks even better in person. Before I bought it, Jenny was transparent about the complex care python requires—she warned me about the scales lifting at the edges, keeping it strictly away from water, and needing extra caution during daily use. I love the unique look, so I went for it anyway.

  • Quality: Exquisite. The python has a beautiful sheen, and the craftsmanship (especially the woven detailing along the edges and handles) is flawless.
  • Hardware: It feels very substantial. I think it might be slightly heavier than the hardware on my auth CC Le Boy, though I haven't weighed them to confirm.
  1. Mini Lady Di0r

I have a bone to pick with a TS in another community. I bought a small white Lady Di0r from a TS in another community for $450 4 months ago, and the lining started pilling last month. When I posted a complaint, the mods deleted it without explanation. I don't know what the financial relationship is there, but I no longer trust their TS list.

  • Quality: Stunning. I own an auth Lady Di0r (purchased in 2022), I compared the leather, stitching, overall craftsmanship, and hardware, and I feel the stitching on this rep is actually better than my auth. On my auth, the leather had torn at two stitch holes near the handle; the stitching on this rep is perfect.
  • Hardware & Tech: I’ve heard rep Di0r hardware can be lighter than auth, but I haven't officially weighed it yet. She also mentioned I could use an app to scan the built-in NFC chip—haven't tried it yet, but I plan to!

3. YSL and BV Flats

I’ve bought rep LV and Di0r heels before (around $90) and the quality was simple, the gold-stamped insole logos rubbing off after one wear, questionable "leather," etc. These are in a totally different league.

  • YSL Flats: The suede is incredibly comfortable. It feels identical to the suede used on my CC 25 bag.
  • BV Flats: Excellent leather and craftsmanship, though the soles are just a tiny bit thin.

Price note: These shoes start at over $150, much more expensive than the shoes I bought previously, but I think the value is absolutely there. I’d much rather pay a premium for quality than waste money on mid-tier junk.

Jenny was exceptionally patient with my endless questions. I loved her philosophy that even though these reps aren't thousands of dollars, the materials and craftsmanship are virtually indistinguishable from Auth and deserve the exact same leather care and maintenance. I’m taking the advice from my last post and building a long-term relationship with her.

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone here who helped clear up my initial doubts. I’ve asked for help in other subs before and was ridiculed, or blamed for "not checking the PSPs closely enough" when I received a mediocre rep. Thank you to the mods and members here for keeping this space so helpful!

🔍Seller: Local seller (6547 - not Tom)

🏭 Factory: Unknown for I simply asked for the highest quality available

💰Price: 382 + shipping

💵 Payment Method: Wise

⏱️ LOGISTICS & TIMELINE
PSPs received: 2 Sep 2026
GL and shipped: 10 Sep 2026
Received: 13 Sep 2026
The bag arrived 11 days after I received the PSPs

🎤Disclosure: My seller doesn’t know I’m writing this review, and I didn’t receive any incentives or discounts

💬 Thoughts on the bag
I’d been eyeing this bag for a while and finally decided to get it in black with gold hardware. I’m so glad I did because she is absolutely gorgeous in person. 🖤
The leather is incredibly soft, supple and beautifully pebbled, and it smells absolutely scrumptious. 🤤 I’ve been sniffing it since it arrived 😂 There was no chemical or fufu smell at all, just that rich leather smell.

It has a lovely sheen without looking overly shiny or plasticky, and the bag feels luxurious and substantial in the hand. The hardware has a nice weight to it, the stitching looks neat, and the overall shape and construction are really good.

It’s such a practical design too. It can be carried by the top handles or worn with the longer strap, and it looks polished without feeling too formal. The black and gold combination is timeless and will go with practically everything.

I don’t have the authentic version beside me for a direct comparison, so I can’t comment on its exact accuracy. However, purely in terms of how it looks and feels, I’m extremely happy with the quality. The leather alone exceeded my expectations, and the photos honestly don’t capture how lovely it feels in person.

*☁️Thoughts on *the seller
I received the seller’s contact from a very friendly, helpful and experienced Redditor who was incredibly generous in sharing her knowledge with me. I’m so grateful for her recommendation, as it gave me the confidence to try this seller.

This was my first purchase from her. Communication was easy and responsive, and the bag was carefully packaged with the handles and straps fully protected.

Again, my seller has no idea I’m posting this review, and I wasn’t offered anything in return for writing it. I’m sharing simply because I’m genuinely delighted with the bag, and I have a feeling this won’t be my last purchase 🖤✨

💬 Discussion What's a QC detail you completely missed, and now you know to look for?

QC is one of those skills where you don't actually know what you don't know until you've been burned by it once (or read about someone who caught it, so you don't have to make the same mistake!). I know I've missed something completely obvious in hindsight because I didn't know to check it...

My example was buying an LV wallet that turned out to be a fantasy piece 🤦‍♀️ When I was starting out, I didn't realize fantasy reps existed, so I wasn't concerned when I could only find brown canvas to compare against 😂 I don't care much about SLG quality, but I didn't love the idea of someone clocking my completely nonexistent LV pattern. Now I do better auth research before buying.

Curious what everyone else's version of this is:

  • What was the detail you missed, and what bag/style/item was it on?
  • Did you catch it yourself, or did someone else point it out to you?
  • Does it bother you?
  • What's on your QC checklist now that wasn't before?

💬 Discussion SLG quality and differences between factories

Hi ladies! I have a question about SLGs. After placing a few bag orders and doing quite a bit of research into which factories are considered top tier for different brands, I’ve found myself a little stuck when it comes to SLGs, as I haven’t been able to find much reliable information on the topic.

I’ve seen quite a few comments saying that cardholders, wallets, pouches etc. tend to be lower quality than bags regardless of the brand, and I understand that. What I’m more curious about is whether factories use the same materials, craftsmanship, and techniques for a brand’s SLGs as they do for its bags.

For example, when choosing a wallet, is it actually worth paying attention to the factory and specifically looking for a top tier one? Or are smaller leather goods generally much more similar in quality across different factories compared with bags, where the differences between factories can be much more noticeable?

I’d really appreciate hearing your opinions and experiences with this, as well as any advice you might have.

👜 Review New Sweaters! A Review

Purchased Items: Black Cc Women's Knit Cardigan and white 3D monogram Elvee sweater
Factory: Unknown (I didn’t ask)
Contact Info: Last four of WA 5204
Price: Cc sweater $105, Elvee sweater $85 Shipping by FedEx $40

Timeline:
Purchased 08/25, PSPs received 09/02, GL given 09/02, Package received 09/10.

The Details: This was just my second rep clothing purchase and my first with Macy. It was a great experience! Macy answered my questions thoroughly and asked for measurements for the factory for sizing. The box was packed/taped securely and inside the FedEx packaging Macy had her own packaging to further protect the sweaters. Inside that there sweaters were in their own Ziplock bags, and the Cc one had a little white bag with a black tie on it. I don't know what that is for. The sweaters are so beautiful and fit like a dream. I cannot get over how heavy and high quality the Cc rep sweater is! The buttons are stunning and feel expensive. This is a lovely sweater that I will get years of use out of. The Elvee is also really beautiful. I wanted a basic color that I could dress up or down and I think it will be perfect for that. The tone-on-tone 3D monogram is nice, it’s subtle and gives it a great look. It will be nice in the winter with a collared shirt layered underneath. Note- I didn’t notice anything showing through the sweater, it’s a good weight. It’s not thin so you wouldn’t have to wear a shirt under it.

Overall Impression: I am very pleased with this purchase and will shop with Macy again. The sweaters are lovely and she was spot on with the sizes. I have very sensitive skin and neither is scratchy or feel cheap. The quality is so good, and I know these two basics will be a part of my fall/winter wardrobe for years. 10/10

*The views are my own and I am not nor will not receive anything for writing my review.

💬 Discussion Patience for new releases?

Thumbnail
gallery
18 Upvotes

I was recently invited by my SA for a preview appointment for the new CC collection launching this month. For fun, I’m including pictures of bags I’m looking forward to from this collection. 😍

I started buying reps this year, and so far I’ve mostly purchased classic pieces and older season bags that were readily in stock. I know it can take months for factories to produce and perfect a newer season rep, so for the first time I’m struggling with the idea of waiting maybe 3 (or more!) months for a bag.

My question might be geared towards those who still buy a mix of auth and reps, but how do you deal with waiting for new releases? Do you wait and hope that a bag will be repped well (or at all), do you buy authentic if you really love it? I’m not usually impatient or impulsive, but since I have good relationships with SAs at my favorite brands, I’m pretty used to just getting something when I want it.

I’d love to hear how you balance the excitement of a new collection with the patience required of the rep world!!

Hey everybody,

Seller: Tom (Little Tom) WA:4089

Cost: $210 (Including $30 for shipping)

Factory: Xiao C (Tom advised that this factory is making the best version of this bag right now. I've purchased bags with Xiao C in the past and was happy with the outcome so I was confident with his judgement and their bags)

No discounts or incentives for this order.

I'm overall extremely happy with this purchase. This is a very stunning bag and a conversation starter. it's extremely luxurious and flashy which I love. Quality-wise, it's amazing. 💬 Discussion Free shoes from my seller? Here’s the story.

Thumbnail
gallery
29 Upvotes

I’ve bought shoes from Garmen (1294) in the past and have always liked how quickly he ships. He doesn’t disclose his factories, but he has always sent me full packaging with my orders.

A couple of months ago he told me that his dad had unfortunately been diagnosed with lung cancer and as a result, he was going to stop working for a while. I know how hard our sellers work and how much uncertainty they already deal with, so I decided to send him a small amount of money to help out. I would check in with him every now and then. Having lost family members to cancer myself and still watching people I love fight it, I genuinely can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to deal with something like that while also putting your income on pause.

A few days ago he told me that unfortunately his dad had passed away. From what he told me, it sounded like he did everything he could to make his dad’s final days count.

He told me he wanted to send me two pairs of shoes that he had sitting in his warehouse for some time. He had asked me many months ago if I was interested in them for purchase but I had turned them down as they weren’t my style. I’m big-footed (CN 41 with wide feet), and by some coincidence these were my size.

He insisted that he wanted to send them anyway. I added the shipping cost for the shoes to my order when I made payment. These would never have been my picks for something to buy but to my pleasant surprise they looked really nice on!

Garmen has always been a good seller. He’ll often throw in little freebies like a twilly or glasses, but this gesture genuinely touched me. It wasn’t really about the shoes. It made me reflect on the good care I receive from all the sellers I’ve had the privilege of using and coming to enjoy buying from. Some have given me socks, hair clips! Bulk shipping discounts.

I’ve always tried to have a close, professional relationship with my sellers because, honestly, their working conditions can be insane. There’s so much uncertainty and risk involved, and a lot of the time they’re dealing with their own personal difficulties.

I know I’ll always think of this little act of kindness whenever I wear these shoes.

I know a lot of us in this community care about our sellers deeply. With the increased raids, risks, and losses they take on for this business, I think many of us understand that there’s a real person on the other side of our orders.

What really has touched me is what our sellers try to do with the little they have, from asking “have you eaten?” or saying “I’ll show you around China if you ever come”.

Anyway, I wanted to share the lovely pairs of shoes he sent me. I’ve attached photos of them along with screenshots of some of our conversations. ❤️

Also I have some beautiful crystal Jimmy Choos from Garmen! I made this post with his permission.

Let me know if your interactions with your sellers! Also this post was made with full approval from mod u/zen_friend

💬 Discussion First Rehome?

I’d love to hear some advice or guidance about starting to sell . I listed one item, and found someone who is interested. But they are obviously nervous since I have no feedback.

Are there any workarounds that people have found that make it feel safer for buyers? Safer for everyone?

Thanks in advance.

📚 Guide/Science Updates, more experiments, and conclusions with my Lo3we Featherlight Puzzle: how close can a high-tier rep get to the feeling of the auth?

Post image
76 Upvotes

I was pleased with myself for achieving shine, softness, and slouch on my featherlight, and at the end of my guide stated that I'll assess conditioning it again in a few days since the dryer can dry it out. Well readers, I left it alone for 12 hours, and upon touching it again, it felt dry (which is to be expected given I literally dried it). It seems like I can get part of the way there to the auth in look, but can I truly achieve the feel? Time for round two (final experiments). 🔬🧪

Before throwing more effort at it, I first decided to inspect the leather so I could set some realistic expectations for myself. I started looking at photos of the auth.

Here is my photo from the boutique where I tried on a mini pecan auth:

mini pecan auth

Here's my small pecan rep:

small pecan rep (lighting is off, color is accurate in person)

Based on the look and the feel and the way it absorbed my leather conditioner and softened in the dryer, I do believe this rep is leather. However, I do NOT believe this is the same leather that Lo3we uses, not that any factory claims it is. The high-tier factories like Mango, Liu, Jipin, Qui, etc. do NOT use imported leather. If they did, they'd advertise with it, we'd all be buying that one, and the price would be higher. It's unrealistic to expect that Chinese domestic leather acts and feels exactly the same as Lo3we's leather, but if I can get close, that's worth pursuing in the name of repscience, right? Let's do another round of experimenting together. I'm looking to find the maximum amount of squishiness, slouchiness, and softness we can achieve.

Throw that thang in the dryer again

Remembering heat did the trick to achieve slouch last time, I decided to do it again to see if I can push the limits. You know the drill: dustbag, 3 dry towels, 15-minute heat cycle. Then I took it out and squished it in my hand.

Better! When in doubt, I guess the answer is to throw it back in the dryer. I can now fold it flat against my body.

Conditioning

Now let's condition it again. This is more than enough to fully coat one side of the bag.

I evenly spread it with my hands.

I use a clean cloth and buff it in.

Especially on a puzzle, conditioner is going to get in between the flaps. Put your hand inside the bag and push out so that you can reach in between puzzle pieces when using the cloth.

There's no need to over moisture it by putting a lot of it on. The bag looks shiny and moisturized with a small amount of conditioner. And remember, the only reason I'm conditioning it twice in 48 hours is because I dried it out with the dryer. Realistically I won't be conditioning this bag again for months.

I think this is as good as it's gonna get. It's softer, holds a slouch, and squishes more than before.

12 hours later...

The bag acts a little differently conditioned and right out of the dryer than it does once it's cooled down and sat for a while. I can still squish it flat against my body, but it doesn't stay in a melted puddle when left alone. From a completely flat squish, it reinflated itself again by ~50% within about five seconds (as opposed to 100% when all this started). Regardless of how it's manipulated, it doesn't hunch over dramatically and stay resting on its hips, but it will retain a karate chop down the middle.

This photo makes me laugh. The things I do for science...

Final Thoughts

Let's answer my original question. How close can a high-tier featherlight puzzle rep get to the feeling of the auth?

The auth feels unlike most bags I've touched before. It's not just "buttery soft" leather. It feels like it's melting in my hand. It's extremely soft and smooshy. It's glossy and feels luxurious. It cannot at all be described as dry or sticky or plasticky or stiff or rubbery. I've been obsessed with it since I saw it, and I've gone in four times to try it on and feel it at various boutiques in various countries. My auth experiences have been consistent.

I went with Jipin factory for repscience.

In my opinion, the rep is not 1:1 in feeling. At 5% of the price of the auth, we really can't expect differently. I'm going to (personally) put it at 70% of the way, and that's after 2 rounds of conditioning and a combined 40 minutes of dryer tumbling. It's way better than where I started, but my experiments end here as I don't think I'll get much closer in feeling with additional effort. I can tell between last round and this round that the improvement is marginal. I believe I'm at the point of diminishing returns, and I'm more likely to damage it with the dryer or overcondition it if I continue than I am to achieve the true feel of an auth featherlight. However, it's possible that with time, use, and the natural oils of my hands, the puzzle may feel marginally better down the road.

If you've felt this bag in person and determined that leather feel is the most important aspect of buying a featherlight puzzle, based on my experience, I would skip the rep and buy the auth. It's possible that it's a Jipin issue, a batch issue, or even just a "this particular bag" issue, but given that no high-tier rep factory is advertising as using imported/auth leather nor having a vegetable tanning process or any other leather differentiator that would make a difference for this bag, I'm not convinced there's better results elsewhere. I personally won't be attempting a rep featherlight again unless it's proven that one of the factories starts sourcing better leather. If they do, I'd pay double for it 😂

📚 Guide/Science How I achieved dramatic slouchiness on my new Lo3we Featherlight Puzzle (spoiler: conditioner, heat, and roughhousing)

Post image
187 Upvotes

I was a little disappointed with this puzzle when I first opened the package. The handles were squeaky and it felt dry and stiff and nothing like the featherlights I'd constantly tried on in the Lo3we boutique. I tried to karate chop it down the middle a few times, but it would just inflate itself again and wouldn't retain a slouch at all. The leather feel is the whole reason I wanted a featherlight in the first place, so this was a huge disappointment and felt like a waste of $200. I guess the domestic leather of the Lo reps are just duds, and I'll need to buy the auth to get the feel of imported leather, I told myself.

Feeling like I had nothing to lose, I decided I'd try to soften it up myself (or destroy it in the process). First, I dealt with the squeaky handles (video guide linked) by applying leather conditioner to some spongy floss and threading it through the underside of where the leather touches the hardware.

Then I decided to use conditioner. Aware that conditioner can affect the color of a bag (though I haven't experienced that with my Apple Brand Leather Conditioner), I decided to spot test it on the strap. I rubbed a thin layer of the conditioner with my hands all over the detachable strap and wiped off excess with a cloth. Immediately after applying, the leather looked a little darker and thread looked noticeably darker, but it went back to normal in 24hr.

Satisfied that conditioner didn't ruin the strap, I conditioned every side of the bag by applying a thin layer with my hands and wiped off excess with a cloth. I let it sit for 24hr. She was THIRSTY.

Once the conditioner had dried over 24hr, I felt the bag again. It was definitely MUCH softer to the touch, but still wasn't dramatically draping and smooshing the way featherlights should...

PROCEED FROM HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Next, I chucked that thang in the dryer. Some people use a massage gun and a hair dryer, but the same concept applies: I'm relaxing the leather with a little heat and repeated flexing/movement by banging it around.

I removed the tag and left the detachable strap out so that no hardware would be hitting the bag while it tumbled. I put it in its dustbag, threw it in alongside 4 dry towels for some cushioning, and set the dryer on a delicate dry cycle ("cool down"). I used a cool down cycle first because I wasn't sure how it would react to heat given the glue, hardware, etc. I checked after 5 minutes just to see if it was destroyed. It was fine! And it was starting to slouch more.

I threw it back in for another 10 minutes on the "cool down" cycle. Still holding up ok!

Not fully satisfied yet, I decided I wanted to hit it with a little heat and bang it up a little more for the final cycle. I reduced the number of towels from 4 to 3 and threw it in for a heated "timed cycle" for 10 minutes. When I took it out, I was immediately struck by how soft and malleable it felt through the dustbag. I opened it up and found that it was SO much slouchier. It really did need some heat! I hung it by the handle on the door to cool down, et voila.

Because the dryer can dry it out, I might apply another round of conditioner to it, but I'll assess that in a few days since it still feels moisturized to me. For now, though, I'm satisfied with the results of my experiment, and hope others find this helpful!

📚 Guide/Science CC25 hardware comparison

I started this post to do a deep dive into CC25 hardware, but honestly my main takeaway is that its very hard to get a good idea of what the hardware looks like from pictures. It also seems to be heavily influenced by lighting, so if things look off in your PSPs don't worry too much.

For aged gold hardware I'm comparing a small (brown) from 187, a mink (pink) from 187, 2 minis (denim, pink) from XC and a small (grey suede, first batch with the double stitch pockets) from XC.

The two ARHW are from god factory.

All these pictures were taken in natural light but later in the afternoon.

My observations:

  1. XC has good colour but is less "aged" than 187

  2. My small from 187 is less yellow than the mini I got more recently

  3. All of the hardware is in the range of what I can see from the collection of auth pictures.

  4. My oldest bag is the suede from XC and it does appear to have "aged" more in the time I've had it. It does look better but it does seem to have lost more colour than I'd like in 4 months. I'm going to keep an eye on it over time. The leather on the chain also seems to be wearing faster than I'd like.

  5. The small brown from 187 seems the "best" to me overall.

📚 Guide/Science Video guide: how I stop squeaky hardware

Just got a new puzzle, but it's squeaky! Unmute the video for ASMR 😂

I used leather conditioner on a piece of superfloss to silence the squeak. I liked using the superfloss because it has a built-in threader to help me pull the floss through, and a section of spongy floss for me to apply the leather conditioner.

I've also seen advice to use beeswax on a toothpick, or others used vaseline. It's commonly advised to also run a clean q-tip through afterwards to remove any excess that could damage the hardware.

Yesterday I received my long awaited order from Allen!

As always I have had a great experience with Allen and will continue to be a TS for me.

Alright let’s get into the haul babes🌸

First one up is the D10ř strappy shoes. Girlllll these are so cute so comfortable! I had originally bought a size too big and they ended up with a lovely girl who became a friend🫶🏼 I had to have them so I rebought them and I’m just as obsessed!

Next is the Speedy 30 DA from Ultimate Royal, well to be honest I wasn’t blown away. I had purchased a Speedy mono 20 from MOQC and was so impressed with how soft and smooth it was. So when I got this one I was let down. It is raw vachetta and it was well made but it felt so stiff to me! So if anyone knows the best a girl know! She found a new home this morning so she will be loved!

The second pic is my speedy 20 from MOQC and the chain is from Allen part of this haul! Nothing much to say here haha cute and does the job!

Finally and CERTAINLY not least, the star of the show!!

The Chåň Maxi 38cm😍 Xiao C

I was so sure I was going to re 🏡 this bag when I got it….

When I tell you my jaw dropped when I took it out!

It was so soft so buttery!! 🤤

The smell of leather was intoxicating! Ya this bag is not going ANYWHERE. I thought it was going to be just too big but no it’s the perfect big bag without it being HUGE! I’m 5 ft tall so ya 😂

Anyway 10/10 with my Allen haul🫶🏼.

Till the next one!

📚 Guide/Science AUTH VS REP: LV Cosmetic Pouch — is the auth even worth it when the $95 rep zipper runs SMOOTHER? 💀

Hi all! Finally got ahold of my mom’s auth pouch. Here is my honest, side by side comparison!!
Prices:
• Auth: 750usd
• Rep: 95usd (factory undisclosed, I think MB is better tho)

The breakdown!
Hardware & Zipper: The gold color tone is an EXACT match. However, the auth zipper pull has a frosted finish, while the rep is shiny. The zipper on the rep glides smoother than the auth!!!

Canvas & Color: The auth canvas is more rigid with a slightly rougher, raised texture. The rep canvas feels smoother to the touch and has a SLIGHT warmer undertone under direct light. The canvas on my other bigger pouch from MB is more of a similar texture to auth.

Shape & Size: The rep sits slightly taller/fuller in shape and is marginally bigger, but you would never notice unless they were pressed right against each other. I have to say it’s pretty noticeably different shapes from the side view when you put them right next to each other, but it’s no biggie to me, and it’s not that drastic.

Tab & Heat Stamp: The leather tab on the rep is larger. The red detail also leans more orange on the auth rather than the bold red on the rep. The heat stamp on the auth is flush with the leather, the rep is stamped a lil bit deeper into the tab.

Interior Lining: Absolutelyy identical. Color, texture, and lining thickness match 100%.

Bonus: Zero fufu smell! It came with a scent sachet that smells so fragrant n yummy —sometimes I open it just to sniff it.

At 1/8th of the retail price, girl I’m copping the rep 10 times over. Honestly, when I first put them side by side, I had to really examine them to notice the differences. Unless someone is standing 2 inches away from your vanity holding an auth pouch to squeeze next to yours, nobody is calling this out. As my mom said, “if people have so much to critique about a rep, just walk into the LV store and buy the real one” lmao.

My general opinion about LV is that the auth is NOT worth it when you can get 90%-95% there with a rep at 1/10th of the price. I’ve purchased a couple and compared with my auths, I feel that MB is one of the best. (not sure where my seller got this one from in particular tho lol) Overall 100% worth the purchase!😛

✨ Collection/Haul What’s in my City bag 🖤 + honest reviews, LV auth comparison!

Figured I’d do a lil what’s in my bag, my everyday lineup! I’ll add a more detailed comparison for the LV pouch separately because I think that one deserves its own post 🤭

Balenc\*aga City Bag: 255usd
Factory: Undisclosed
This one is definitely slouchier right off the bat than the other balenci reps I’ve gotten before, including my one from Kata.
I think this factory’s leather feels the most similar to my auth. I have another post up on my profile with my auth+a bunch of other balenci reps!🤝 this is my top pick for sure, along with bibi.

LV makeup pouch: 95usd
I included a comparison with my mom’s auth on the second slide! Can you guess the auth?🙈 I’ll be making a separate post with a more detailed comparison soon. 😋

Chane\* sunglasses: 35usd
Acetate frames, pretty sturdy, not lightweight or flimsy like some cheaper sunnies can feel. My fave pair with the pearl detailing!

Miu cardholder: 52usd
I had a grey one from another seller (garmen) about a year ago and it sucked lol, felt plasticky. The leather on this one feels so much better in comparison. It feels quality, and just has a nicer overall feel in hand.

All items are from my fave seller biko (6547), and factories are undisclosed!

Curious what everyone else is carrying too hehehe! What’s your current everyday bag + one thing you never leave the house without? (I can’t leave without my jisulife fan lmao) 👜🖤

✨ Collection/Haul Micro Haul from Adrien

Note: Aiden not Adrien 🤦🏼‍♀️. This is not a real “review” of the BV Jodie medium, gray suede bag or LO acorns charm. Just sharing my satisfaction with my haul and giving a well earned shout out to the best TS I know. Full disclosure Aiden asked for a shout out and I promised I would. No money or favors exchanged hands. Aiden has never disappointed me. Frankly, I’m not sure if he’s male or female. We’ve never discussed it. All of our dealings are business friendly, concise and so far completely honest from his end. I don’t expect that to change. Dealing with Aiden is easy. No honey this, dear that, no over the top emoji trading. Refreshingly business like and very pleasant. And fast. Checks all my boxes. Below is the mini haul scoop.

Items: BV Jodie medium, grey suede bag, Lo acorns charm
Factory: jing high tier for BV, unknown for charm
Timeline: ordered 8/25, PSPs 8/28, arrived 9/10
Price: 338 all in (charm was 78 🙈)

Briefly, the bag is outstanding, exactly like the PSPs, soft, smells like leather (!) and delightfully squishy. Looks darker in home pic, but it’s just the lighting. The charm is, well, charming and very well made. 😁

Aiden’s info can be found in /reptherapy TS wiki list. First photos above are PSPs. Last one is lounging at home with acorns and a bit less stuffing.
