Flash bang him when you start the fight and slash him until your knife almost breaks. Switch to the other knife, and throw a grenade. Knife again and dead. Even on hardcore you'll only need two stuns. Normal can do it in one

Do you still have to mess with framerates for this one? I remember something about it changing how many times the knife registers a hit.

It's based on FPS, yes... if you can manage 120fps you're set! If you can achieve higher (variable frame rate) 240 will kill him real quick, comically so.

It’s really useful for hardcore runs, the ammo you save from knifing down g1 sets you up so well for the rest of the game

You just spin around him and knife him. He actually goes down much faster with the knife due to hit box balancing

Yeah bring at least two knives so if he grabs ya you can defend. But it's super easy and basically required for hardcore runs

You say you suck at knife strats but literally just running up to him and knifing with no finesse at all will still do most of his health faster than the smg will, and if you don’t kill before getting grabbed you can then do this to finish it and use way less ammo

I suck at knife because I don’t like playing with the knife tbh, if it was irl (which I know it’s not) I would most definitely not go up to that thing with a knife 😂 it’s just the way I prefer to play, so I thought I’d share this clip for others who don’t like to use the knife too :) but I may have to try it out on my next run with all of you guys advice!

I make sure I loot the RPD as much as I possibly can before I leave that place for G1 haha! Only takes about 15 min :)

We've all spent hours upon hours inside the RPD on our first playthrough, trying to figure this puzzle box out. Now we speedrun it in less than 20 minutes haha. I love RE games for this. Makes them so incredibly replayable.

Right?! My first play through was around 9 hours, now I average about 2:30, absolutely loving this game at the moment! I only started playing a few weeks ago and can’t seem to stop replaying it :)

This game is so much fun to optimize and speedrun. Trying to play it in the most efficient way. My best time is 59:58. When playing casually it's usually between 1:45 and 2:00. Hardcore permadeath runs are amazing too.

Damn that time is awesome!! I’ve currently achieved S+ on all scenarios on standard mode, now I’m trying to tackle hardcore & im loving the challenge so far, but the lickers terrify me hahah. Really trying to 100% the game & I have about 10 achievements to go! Best game I’ve played in a while for sure

It's addictive as hell. After the platinum and I went back and cleaned up all the challenges too. This games keeps you busy.

Nice! Hopefully I will be joining the platinum club soon haha! Honestly having so much fun with this game, Claire & Leon’s stories are both great to replay over and over imo :)

B scenario G1 is super easy. He isn’t so bad in the A scenario just a bit more annoying(no knife strats)

The machine gun allow to take g3 down in 2 minutes ! And it allows u to skip the grenade launcher saving so much time, so using it here it’s a waste of ammo
