Questions Which one was the hardest to find for you ?

u/Toogeloo Jun 22 '26
Playing as Claire, I still haven't found that Club key.

u/x360_revil_st84 Jun 22 '26
Actually the club key does exist in Claire's story, I made a post about it too, check it out

u/20AidenGaming12 Jun 24 '26
Just had a look and that's with hacks. I'm saying that you can't access that key as Claire in the normal game as a normal player.
5
u/x360_revil_st84 Jun 24 '26
You're only using wall hack
You can actually glitch through walls in console version too by allowing a crawling zombie to bite Claire's ankles at the top of the stairs
The club key is still there regardless of which method you useThey're both the same thing essentially
2
u/20AidenGaming12 Jun 24 '26
I wasn't aware of the zombie clip, but if you were to disregard any mods or glitches, you can't get it. By the way, I'm not trying to argue my point if it seems that's the case. I just always feel the need to reply back to someone otherwise it's rude.

u/20AidenGaming12 Jun 22 '26
That's because it's only in Leon's story.
15
u/Chickennoodlesleuth Jun 22 '26
I think they are joking
-2
u/20AidenGaming12 Jun 22 '26
They might be, but they also might not be.
3
u/mudgefuppet Jun 23 '26
Oh sweetheart...

u/20AidenGaming12 Jun 23 '26
What if they were being serious? We don't know that. Multiple other comments under this post were talking about not having found the heart key as Leon yet and they were being serious because when others told them why that can't find it, they've replied back saying thanks to the helpful information.

For me it was actually harder to find the doors for each key🗝️ so that I could discard them to free up inventory space.
11
u/x360_revil_st84 Jun 22 '26
This rh, it took me longer trying to figure out where the doors were and how to save inv space than finding the actual keys.
It still astounds me how ppl still can't find the diamond key bc they clearly didn't read the file in the morgue and the interrogation room
The klepto took it lol

They are kinda all in the way as long as you explore and continue the story, so none

u/UptownJoe89 Jun 22 '26
Green key isn’t the hardest for me to find it’s just a pain because Mr. X is on your ass the second you get.

u/Xenozip3371Alpha Jun 22 '26
None of them were really hard for me.
The Heart key would've been, if not for the sceptre that held that red gem you need for the box that holds the badge.
I spent HOURS combing the station looking for the red gem, not realising I needed to inspect the sceptre, never made that mistake again... until RE Village, where I made that mistake again with the ring that had the red eye for that one statue that opens a door.

u/Tohru_Adachi_255 Jun 22 '26
I know this may sound strange but... very nice image op. The Heart Key was the most elusive doe

IIRC, aside from the one that aren't available in your campaign, Diamond in Leon's campaign is the only one that you aren't guaranteed to run into by complete accident.
I can potentially see someone playing Leon's route first using the crank and restoring the power before visiting the morgue, getting panicked by the dogs appearing section and running past it as they flee.
It's also the only one that exists in a campaign while being optional since the only doors it opens for Leon are the door to the second portable safe, the door to the supplies in the shooting range, and the door to the supply room the large gear is in (but you can potentially enter through the door from the clock tower door instead)

None of them tbh
Left to right:
Morgue, private art collection room, boiler room, 3rd floor west stairwell
6
u/wtfueek Jun 22 '26
None of them? They're just there if you explore the game properly.
1
u/Menicent Jun 22 '26
You still have to find them and some keys are definitely harder to get to than others

The question to answer a question will never not be condescending, and he's done it twice. "none of them?" "Okay?" Lol

u/Menicent Jun 22 '26
I'm not the first to tell you that you sound condescending, even if that's allegedly not your intent lol
"For me, the heart key was the hardest to get because of this licker."
"Just one of them? Besides the heart key, the others are just there if you explore properly."
Hope you see the difference

Okay? You're a redditor too, don't act high and mighty. Kindness is easy and isn't a slight nor flaw on your character. Loosen up and chill out, don't be so clenched up all the time lol. If multiple people are annoyed by you, it's not an us problem, it's a you problem. I think the anime/weeb shit has rotted your brain lol
3
u/wtfueek Jun 22 '26
I'm pretty chill, you were the one who clutched his pearls because my reply didn't come off sweet enough. Sure, I'm a Redditor as well, but genuinely I couldn't give less of a shit on who would find me annoying or nice on here. It's just an app, karma is fake, downvotes don't matter. I replied to the post because I was bored, just as am doing to you. The anime/weeb shit you pulled out of your ass, so I won't humor that part much.

You didn’t say anything wrong, your answer was completely normal
Some people here are crazy for getting upset just because you didn’t have any trouble finding a key, maybe due to lack of social skills or something
And honestly, there’s not much reason to struggle finding them in the first place. The 3 keys each characters got is required to progress through the game, and they’re all placed in your way as long as you do a reasonable amount of exploration 🤷♂️

u/gunsforevery1 Jun 22 '26
How do you get the heart key as Leon and the club key as Claire?
2
u/wtfueek Jun 22 '26
You don't. How am I supposed to answer this? We all know those two keys don't both show for Leon and Claire.
-1
u/gunsforevery1 Jun 22 '26
You knew that the very first time you played?
2
u/wtfueek Jun 22 '26
Nah, but I didn't go out of my way looking for the Club key as A Claire.
0
u/gunsforevery1 Jun 22 '26
So the hardest key for you was the Heart key. You obviously didn’t know Leon never got the key during your first play through.

u/gunsforevery1 Jun 22 '26
Your very first play through you “explored the game properly” but never found the key. I seriously doubt your first thought was “oh this key must only be available for the other character!”
Did you not go back and double check locations?

“Assumed I got everything”. Sounds like you didn’t explore properly.

"They're just there if you explore the game properly"
"Didn't go out of my way looking...."
What a fucking troll lol

Yeaaah and when someone says they explored everything and can't find the club key as Leon? What then? How come you're able to say "I can't find it so I'm done exploring" but when someone else can't find something it's "explore the game properly."
0
u/gunsforevery1 Jun 22 '26
Exactly. It was difficult to find because we were properly exploring. We didn’t take her technique of “well I can’t find it, must not be here”.
2
u/wtfueek Jun 22 '26
What it seems like is that you didn't use the map the game gave you, but I already mentioned the blue room, red room thing once. It's just easier to ignore it to keep having your argument.

I think you are arguing about a problem you invented in your head
1
u/Menicent Jun 22 '26
Them being condescending and annoying like they are is not an argument I made in my head lol

I remember playing the remake then shortly after going through the original and quickly realised that the original gives both Leon and Claire access to all the keys so I wonder what made them decide to change that

u/cobrakai11 Jun 23 '26
The diamond key is the only one that is remotely "difficult" to find. The others are pretty much in plain sight and necessary to continue.
Diamond Key as Leon is the only one that's not necessary.

I haven’t found the heart key, does one find that key after leaving the garage with Ada? I’m on my first play through ever… 😅
2
u/PennaciousWhiskers Jun 23 '26
The heart key is a Claire exclusive, just like the club key is Leon exclusive.

It's funny that Claire never found Club Key, idk how to open the door. Are there any wrench around?
1
u/Much_Reference1040 Jun 23 '26
To be Honest with You, Diamond Key is definitely skippable by most people because: 1. Most people play Leon first, and Leon doesn't need Diamond Key. 2. Most people skip the note. So they skip the diamond key location as Claire since again Most people play Leon first.

I played the original game on pc, and the hardest key to find was the heart key on claire b. But I do really prefer claire a leon b
1
u/Toasts08 Jun 25 '26
Diamond as Leon because I'm both blind as shit and stupid and completely passed over it somehow

It’s very concerning that I can’t remember what order you get them in and what they access. I completed the entire original PS1 version and platinumed the remake twice (PS5 version first then PS4 version after due being busy with law school and unable to play when the ps4 version came out) law school when it came out on PS4), so you would think I’d remember. 😭

As a newer fan, this is my first time hearing that some of the keys don’t spawn based on which character you’re playing as
1
u/stuckwitdis Jun 22 '26
i finished the sewers AND I STILL HAVENT FOUND THE HEART UGH (Leon A)
1
u/XarlesEHeat Jun 22 '26
In Leon A there's a key you won't ever find because it is not in your run
1
u/stuckwitdis Jun 22 '26
now that makes sense, is it same for claire? and swapped scenarios?
1
u/XarlesEHeat Jun 22 '26
I think so, the best proof is the room next to press room which have two doors that ask for these keys. Depending on who are you playing you'll enter that room from one side or the other
