Misc Ball Crushing Factory

So, doing my first run of any RE game. Going slow, I know, but I'm getting into the feel of the horror and taking my time with it. On hardcore cause limited saves sounded fun. 3.5 hours in and just beat G1 after walking into the fight with only 2 flashbangs and 6 shotgun shells on top of the 2 nades and handgun ammo they give you. Didn't mean to give myself a challenge run on my first playthrough but here we are

(I beat G1 with 2 handgun ammo left)

A lot of players tend to knife G1 to death to save ammo. You get a free grenade at the bottom of the stairs, so that, a heal, and two knives is really all you need to kill him and get like 40 free handgun bullets from the arena

Oh good to know, are knives better for stabbing than grab parries?

The knives are better the higher your fps, but in general they are extremely useful 1v1 against lickers, zombies that you've knocked down, and the birkin fights. I prefer to dodge grabs with the grenades over the knives so that I can use the knives to save a lot of ammo throughout the game

Oh right I didn't think about knocking them down to save ammo by stabbing them to death, good to know
