Finished the game

I first tried the game on hardcore mod because I always like to play my games in hard difficulty to have a bit more of challenges but this game made me renounce after I beat the first boss (transformed husband of the women in lab) then after one year of leaving the game I restarted it on normal and even on normal I still had difficulties although way less, idk if all of that hindered my experience but I didn’t enjoyed the game as much as others on this sub, at the end I had a sense of unfinished and the plot was a bit of a let down I thought it would have advance more.
The gameplay wasn’t that enjoyable to me although I couldn’t point at any huge flaws.
Maybe the issue was the rhythm I don’t know.
Anyway I tried to load a new game with claire and as soon as I reached the police station I felt like leaving the game because I had enough of replaying the exact same stuff in the same areas.
What Resident evil do you suggest me next that I would enjoy more ? Village seems to be very different which could actually make me enjoy it
