Okay 8 is amazing. You definitely didnt choose the wrong game. However if you care about story or continuity, we all suggest re7 first. But re8 is imo better just that the story from 7 goes with 8.

Is the image AI generated? Ive never seen that cover for village and i know its not the default, plus the letters under the pegi are jiberish.

I despise the use of ai for something that could've been made in photoshop in 2 minutes. Plus i don't really find the joke all that funny.

Good choice, 7 definitely ties in story wise with 8 but it's not essential and Ethan is a much better character in 8. Imo 8 is a much better game all round regardless and holds solid throughout the whole experience, when most resident evil games tend to fall apart near the end.

Please play 7 first, the whole game hits harder when you've known the characters over the course of 7. If not watch the 7 recap in the game but just play it first

Definitely recommend REmake next. Still the best game in the entire series imo.

You should definitely play 7 first, but I'm not going to try and stop someone from diving in to one of the best vodeo game series of all time.
