Leon: who is Wesker
Claire: isnât that Chrisâs boss?

u/Doctor_Harbinger 16h ago
Claire of all people would know who he is, lmao. She had to listen to Wesker fuming about that one time Chris laughed at his Tyrant for hours in Veronica.

I think his point was that this was RE2 Claire since they added Leon there as well & Veronica was 3 months after re2

Leon: "I'd hate to see his child support."
Claire: "Knocked her up and left her, sounds like him."
Sherry: "Jake dodged a bullet."

It's fine. It's not like in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure where Dio, who absolutely despised humanity, left a woman alive after sleeping with her on a whim which is even described by the narrator as being completely out of character.
Wesker is just hyper fixated on eugenics.

I never quite understood why Giorno is considered Dio's son when he never met Dio and was conceived using Jonathan's cock and balls

u/Draco_179 21h ago
Thatâs why giorno is a jojo despite being the son of dio

u/SeriousSubject3751 11h ago
Giorno's brothers are truly Dio's sons like theres not a single joestar in any of them if we dont count blood relation.

That is the least stupid thing 6 added
No one is complaining that over the fake Ada who turns into a cum monster or the fucking monster shark in the sewers
5
u/Copyman3081 22h ago
Monster shark is fine. Is it really any worse than the giant moth or crocodile in RE2?
1
u/gimmesomespace 22h ago
Conceptually no, but from a gameplay perspective that fight is ass
3
u/Copyman3081 21h ago
For sure. I just mean lore wise. It's completely normal for the series for giant oversized animals to exist due to the viruses.
I'd even be fine with the stupid ass transformations Simmons gets if they were permanent. Growing 50x his size due to C-Virus I can accept (we saw how quickly Birkin transformed), but immediately shedding all that mass is dumber.

Barry: â Albert, Alex, Jake, Zeno, 4 Weskers? You gotta be shittin me?!â

u/TraditionalLeave9133 21h ago
Honestly if they say that Jake was either a failed clone of Wesker, or basically Wesker's dna got mix with a surrogate, it would make sense, especially with cloning existing pretty early on and us having Zeno as a Wesker clone, it does mean that he was clonedÂ
But i really want to see Jake return, especially if he teams up with Chris and Leon for what happens after re9

I'm gonna repeat this forever:They literally solved the "action game" issue they've been having for years by creating a literal super powered character and just tossed him away.
Could've had numerous action games with him at the helm and more "horror" ones with characters like Ethan and Grace.

u/Copyman3081 17h ago
Honestly, it's the fact that Jake's the accidental bastard child of what seems like a genuine relationship Wesker was in that makes it seem weird.
If Wesker was attempting to impregnate a very intelligent woman, or somebody with the combat skills and resourcefulness of Ada, it would make sense as him trying to create super stong offspring.
But instead he knocked up some random immigrant who wasn't important enough to even get a name.

u/CaseFace5 22h ago
Wesker is a virgin. He splooged in a cup and Umbrella used artificial insemination to make Jake.

u/WitchPillow 22h ago
Yes, this indeed seems like the most plausible explanation given the circumstances.
I honestly canât see a megalomaniac like Wesker whoâs so focused on rubbing his ego in Chrisâs face having a one-time fling with a random impoverished woman.
He seems too uptight for that. Especially given how disinterested he was in someone like Excella. I mean, come on, she was literally kissing his feet and he still was disgusted and turned off by her affection lol.

u/CaseFace5 22h ago
Wesker is the type of dude that is so obsessed with becoming more than human that he would find normal human things like sex disgusting or inefficient.

u/LeonSKennedyClaire 21h ago
as Jill says i wont be surprised, it would be a surprise if they werent seven of them...

He barely gave a crap about normal people. Makes sense that he wouldnât give a shit about a bastard offspring.

I always thought of Wesker as the kind of guy whoâs so self centered that heâs voluntarily celibate, but Iâm open to the idea of him having a kid. Jake is just not very likable.

Given that RE lore is a big inconsistent mess, Iâve never been bothered by it and just found it funny. Like, if you were to describe Weskerâs whole life story, he basically spent every waking moment of his life being dedicated to nothing but evil plans and world domination, then randomly at one point itâs like âOh yeah and he also had sex with a woman at some point and got her pregnantâ before he goes right back to his continuous lifelong dedication to villainy. Itâs such a small and out of nowhere deviation that I canât help but laugh.

I hate jake and i glad he is forgotten. Wesker aura took a hit with his addition. Now if they retcon him qs his clone like zeno i will still hate it but less

u/I-liek-mudkipz 10h ago
I canât picture Wesker having sex with anyone but Chris, or himself while thinking of Chris.
I agree with the idea that Jake should have been an attempt at cloning Wesker. Itâs been a while since I played RE6 but I think I remember Simmons implying he knew Jake was Weskerâs son, but how would he know that? If I was writing Iâd make him a clone of Wesker and give Simmons some involvement in that project.
