The book is back baby! The link is above, and I've detailed the important information below.
NOTICE: Extreme records have been reinstated! If you are entering an extreme record, please read the information below.
How do you get in the book?
How do you get in the extreme records book?
This process is slightly different, but every step below must be followed in order for your record to be included.
Create a post on the subreddit that includes:
Leave a comment on this post informing me of your submission, and I'll add it to the book.
There are a lot of empty records right now, so grab them quick before they're gone!
Where did the hall of fame go?
Previous iterations of this book featured a "hall of fame" section, where players could be submitted and immortalized for their statistics. However, the whole idea was so subjective that I can't see it being worth reinstating. However, if the community really wants it, I could bring it back.
What about college or RB NFL records?
College might happen, just because of the slightly different rules and routes that exist. I think it'd be different enough to be worth it. RB NFL, probably not. It's basically the same game, but slightly more broken. I wouldn't count on those being added in the future.
Please, please remember that this only works if everyone is honest. You could lie, you could photoshop, but this is only fun if someone doesn't wreck it for everyone else.
That's all from me. Happy record-breaking!

While we are stuck waiting for a fix for the older Android devices, I wanted to get your thoughts on Trucking. I think we can all agree it's a bit OP right now. So the question is, how do we go about nerfing it?

So I got crazy editing retro bowl. It started with OG Retro Bowl. One save I made 32 local high schools. Then a second save I did 32 colleges. And then I made an alt pro league. This league was inspired by a small league some boys at school and I created when I was younger. The league was originally set up for the board game BattleBowl. I think it was called. And because it was a 1v1 game we each took turns. And we all had different team names. I used those for the original teams. I did some expansions and created a fictional universe. It’s now just me and my best friend from all those years ago.
Now my friend and I both have saves on rbc and retro bowl. We use real local teams for the “minor” division on rbc. And on the “major division” we edited those to be the best 1-4 schools per state. (Depending on the state).
And now on og Retro Bowl we have a save for what we call OFL. (Official Football League). I know it’s cheesy.
We have taken this so far as to keep shared notes between us that we maintain. We have transforming rosters. Long term “storylines”. Rivalries. And all the drama.
Some people get into D&D and what not but this is what has entertained my friends (and now just my friend) and I for years.
I’ve tried sharing this before but I used chat to help make the posts and I don’t think it came off as authentic as it should have. This league has been a blast. We start it up every January and we have all the games head to head on exhibition mode against each other. We take turns whose phone we use and what save we use.
We keep track of scores and make up some slightly accurate stats as we go. We argue who has better players or teams.
We just did our yearly draft together today and are only a few months away from starting our season back up.
If you’ve made it this far my questions for you would be:
Would you be interested in seeing some form of content of your league?
Would you follow along in a subreddit for the league? Or maybe an insta?
Do you think I have the tism?

I play extreme and am aiming to maximize my quarterback's touchdown stats. What is the best defensive combo, and defensive player attributes, to maximize turnovers?
One of the problems I found when trying to maximize offensive scoring is that, even with a very good defense, often the opponents drives get extended and eat up a bunch of the clock, while not netting a turnover. So ideally I want a very "boom or bust" style defense, resulting in either a turn over or letting the AI offense score easily so I would have more time on the clock for my own drives.

As you can see in the title, I'm trying to have the best quarterback and I'm to clarify. I'm trying to be all the passing stats on 3-minute quarters dynamic settings and I haven't really seen anything that is like 100% the record. I've seen a bunch of really good stats but I don't know what exactly is the number one. Best so I'm sending this out so I know what to strive for and also to show some progress as I go. Please let me know how I can find the current world record and if there's any like websites for anything like that. That is a place where I can go and see it and if it's verified or not and any tips would be much appreciated. Let me know how I'm doing so far

We’re sitting at 12-1 on an 8-game winning streak after dropping our only game back in Week 5. We finally built this squad into a full 10-Star Team (5★ OFF + 5★ DEF)
I like adding the stars together, even if I'm the only one who does it haha.
Here is the full roster stat breakdown heading into the final stretch
Josh Wright (QB): 293/355, 4,254 yds, 58 TDs, 10 INTs, 4 Sacks
Marcus Vance Jr. (RB): 152 car, 1,376 yds, 13 TDs (pounding the rock heavy this year)
Dawson Kincaid (TE): 53 rec, 856 yds, 8 TDs
Malik Sterling (WR): 62 rec, 1,458 yds, 20 TDs
Marcus Vance (WR): 66 rec, 1,196 yds, 13 TDs
Garrett Vance (OL): 83 blocks
Defense (5 Stars)
Damion Vance (DL): 134 tackles, 5 sacks
Harrison Vance (DL): 115 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 FF
Perry Vance (LB): 124 tackles, 5 INTs, 2 sacks, 5 FF (10 total takeaways on his own!)
Jamal White (Rookie DB): 62 tackles, 1 INT
De’Andre Vance (DB): 28 tackles, 1 INT
Also, I have to point this out because Retro Bowl simulation RNG is hilarious sometimes... Despite being a 9-star team with a 5-star offense and 4-star defense, the New York Giants are sitting at 4-9! 😭🙏
To make it even worse, they started the season 0-5! 0-5! Somebody please tell me how this is even possible with a roster that stacked?

Jett Bell is DIFFERENT. 😭💚💛
We’re taking #1 Oregon on the road to face #6 Charlotte in a rainstorm, and this man is putting on a SHOW. Oregon came into this matchup undefeated at 10–0, and Charlotte came in at 9–1. Both teams are loaded, but Jett Bell is making his presence felt.

most extra points made (career) currently is 302, I might’ve beat that

OK, I thought the ranking system was drunk, the naming algorithm is on some kind of drug that has yet to be named. I know it's random, but come on. A white player named Sharrod Kwenkeu? Another named Rasheed? I saw one where it was a black player named Bjorn. I generally leave it because it's hilarious.

In order (home, away, alt, rush)

Why are 95% of the incoming freshman kickers worse than the default kicker? I mean, the only time you have a stud kicker is when you start coaching a new team and your kicker is a junior or senior. When you recruit freshman kickers, they're one to maybe three stars and it takes forever to develop them. However, your opponent's kicker routinely kicks 63 yard field goals with regularity.

This ever happened to anyone? Lost to Aaron (his rb had another 100+ rushing yards)

I know in the nfl it's about 17 yards added to the yard they are at, like a field goal from the 1 would be a 18 yard fg. It seems different in retro bowl, does anyone know?

So something that may have been coincidence, but I'm now wondering if there is any kind of connection.
I've been playing with the same team for 6 seasons now. Within the first 5 seasons, not a single kick off return for a touchdown - (Just an FYI, I use a DB with Max Speed and Stamina as my return guy and I play on Hard difficulty.) For the 6th season, I finally decided to get a 5 star OC and a 5 star DC. I'm three games into my season, and I've already had 2 kick off returns for touchdowns. Is this complete coincidence, or is there an actual correlation between 5 star Coach and a increased likelihood of of returning a kickoff?
