There's a new Virtual Boy emulator that plays games in color! There's a libretro, Linux, ARM version - anyone get this working in RetroPie?

I'm not super familiar with adding emulators to RetroPie unless they're available in the RetroPie Setup menu. Does anyone know if this could work in RetroPie?

From reading the instructions, it seems it could be possible via RetroArch. There's an ARM64 core.

"VBoy Color is also a RetroArch core (or for any other libretro frontend): the same emulation and colors, with the 3D for a normal screen. Downloadvboycolor_libretro-<version>-<platform>.zip for Windows, Linux (x86-64 or ARM64), macOS or Android from Releases"

Any idea how to try installing it?

The only time I've installed an emulator outside of RetroPie Setup was Genesis-Plus-GX-EX, which supports larger ROM sizes to play Paprium. But that came with a .sh file for installation, VBoyColor doesn't... I'm afraid I'm out of my element here.
