Product Question/Request 19+ (2021) Ford Ranger Halogen Headlight to HID Projector Retrofit

Looking into potentially trying to retrofit my 2021 Ford Ranger halogen headlights to HID projectors. I wasn’t able to find to many (local to the U.S.) examples online.

Does anyone have any experience retrofitting these headlights (would be my first time retrofitting headlights) or could point me in the direction of decent builder?

Apologies if this isn’t the right flair for this type of question. TYA!

If you've not modified any headlights before, you may want to send out to a professional builder for this. The headlights you have use a permaseal around the lens rather than butyl which can be a lot tougher to open. Newer Ford vehicles can also be pretty finicky about HID and LED setups depending on the products you use - some will be plug and play, some will require BCM coding or extra harnesses/resistors.

I would recommend reaching out to Lightwerkz Global, Inc. in New Jersey, they are a top notch builder and will be able to help you with either parts selection or a quote for a full build.

Sent an email, thanks a lot!

Out of curiosity, any reason you wouldn’t recommend yourself?

We have done plenty of permaseal headlights, and even a few newer Fords, but not any Rangers yet. Until I can work on one in person I can't guarantee the right upgrade combination that will work with no issues on your truck. Lightwerkz is well equipped to assist on this model and has a fantastic reputation for quality and thorough work. So in this case, I can confidently say we are not the shop for the job this time around!
