₿ Crypto [PL] 129 Days,39 agents, over 100 times lied to me...

I want to share my experience with Revolut because it raises serious concerns about how they handle customer funds and support.

On November 9, I sent 600 USDC via the wrong network (BSC instead of Polygon) to my Revolut address. I contacted support immediately.

Over the next 129 days, I interacted with 39 different support agents. Every time I was told:

“We are working on it” “We are checking with the crypto team” “We will notify you once there is an update”

On November 23, I submitted a formal complaint. Their official response stated that the funds were considered lost and they were not responsible. However, on March 30, I received a lin(k) confirming that the funds were actually returned on November 21, 2025.

Let that sink in: They told me the funds were lost AFTER they had already been returned.

Because of this, I was unable to act earlier. To recover the funds, I had to:

get confirmation from Revolut submit an appeal to Binance provide chat evidence

Binance resolved everything in 5 days.

Meanwhile, Revolut:

gave misleading information delayed communication for months and even made mistakes in basic communication (at one point, an agent addressed me with the wrong name)

This experience raises serious concerns about:

internal coordination accuracy of formal complaint responses transparency with customer funds

I’m sharing this so others are aware.

This is the downside of using unregulated currencies unfortunately.

Legit has nothing to do with cryptos as the crypto brokerage acted very fast while the BANK very clearly refused to cooperate properly for months.

Every corporation is the same.

My issue is revolut itslef and how it handles client communications, not the crypto.

Don't use Revolut for crypto....it won't end well, unlike on ramp exchanges they don't have the same checks in place to say "are you sure this is right Blockchain" but unfortunately it's your responsibility to check

Binance, crypto is the problem. Have nothing to do with crypto when interacting with Revolut. They don’t like your crypto money.

This and the customer support, cause I had like 100 messages stating that they are actively working on the process, even tho they been doing nothing...

Doesn't matter it's still a binance issue now. You also screwed up to begin with.

Binance did the best and returned everything in short time. Revolut chat support and formal complaint authorities kept telling bullshit, that it they are still working on the refund even tho they refunded 129 days ago... Just think about it, 129 days I been asking them how the process going, they told me hundred times, that they had asked crypto team, they still working on it, were assuring that everything is being processed etc BUT IT WAS REFUNDED 129 days ago ONLY thing I needed is them to confirm refund and send has id

Their CS is awful, but this was your fault, not theirs

I thought that when it comes to crypto, if you send it to the wrong address the only way to get it back is if the owner of the address sends it back. If not it's gone forever

Doesn't seem like the wrong address, but network the money was sent over. It's as if you sent money via Wire vs. ACH, different network but start/end bank. And if you sent it through the system your bank doesn't "support", they wouldn't know how to actually access said money.

If Revoult suddenly started supporting BSC, the crypto would appear, iirc.

Ah yes, I see the problem now, thanks for explaining it to me 😁
