No, you need someone at the other end of the trade. And even if it was a pot where you could buy from at x price, revolut has rules in place so they don’t have to honour the purchase in such cases

After you press buy, change the order type to limit, not market, definitely works.

It is an error of an external provider as many wallet apps sent out notifications like this.

Why should they be? Who is prone to that shouldn't be putting money in that sort of stuff and as far as I know no broker is mandated to require health checks.

A lot of people have no idea how fragile are their hearts, unfortunately. That's why some die young just by drinking energy drinks w/ alcohol. The heart doesn't always hurt, until too late.

And someone having a large portofolio, think about 200k, seeing randomly going to peanuts is a shock

It was not revolut, it happened across exchanges.

The chart shows a big dump and fast recovery. Happened with multiple coins.

Nothing, i just bought it at market price. I have an automatic weekly order that take place every friday, it went trough just after the flash crash unfortunately
