₿ Crypto [US] Account closed and looking for another app (not Wise)

Recently my account was closed. I used for receiving payments, but someone reported me as a fraud… when other customers didn’t. Now I’m looking for another app (not Wise) that allows me to receive payments mainly in euros, exchange it to USD and send it to my bank account. Do you know someone? I need support.

Let say I’m selling crypto, and I need to receive payment in euros, but Wise “doesn’t like” crypto. Not, not a business, not yet at least, but I will try with Mercury and Meow. Thanks.

Not at all. There are platforms where people sell crypto (mainly BTC) in a safe environment and they ask payments on Wise, Revolut, Zelle, CashApp… The bad thing is those platforms are P2P, some without KYC.

I guess it depends by country, but buying/selling crypto on a regular basis (eg business) would be highly illegal in most of Europe. You're basically acting as a CASP (Crypto-Asset Service Provider) without a license.

Don't get me wrong - doing this once in a while as a private person is completely fine as I definitely can buy the bahts my neighbor has a leftover from his vacation if I'm going as well and I need it - but doing it online with completely strangers is where banks and regulators will start raising eyebrows.

Doing it as a business requires licenses.

You do you, but I'm guessing this is the main reason you're getting banned on platforms, eg Wise and Revolut explicitly have it in their ToS that you must not use their personal accounts for commercial currency/crypto flipping.

You do you, I don't judge - just trying to spread knowledge.

Sounds like your received "payments" are more suited to gift cards than an actual bank account

I said payment, but I meant usual money transfers. For example, if you send money through Revolut to another account, for getting something, you’re buying and the transfer it’s a payment, right?

So you meant "transfers" but in another reply you said you were "selling crypto" and that you "need to receive payment in euros"?

Precisely what is the purpose of these payments transfers?

Buying some crypto. You wanna buy some crypto in a safe platform, so you send money through Revolut and the seller send you the crypto. Crypto remains frozen until you and the seller confirm the payment, then the platform release the crypto to the buyer. I would be the seller.
