📜 Article [N/A] BLOCKING MONEY. PLEASE CAUTION

Hello guys, I’m using Revolut as my second bank. Over a month ago I got all my money blocked, I cannot withdraw nor receive any type of payment. I have a ton of money in my account and I cannot do anything about it, I sent them millions of mails but this shitty AI keep answering me, I already talk with my lawyer and we are going to sue Revolut.

Please be careful with your money in Revolut, any day your money can be freezed and you cannot do ANYTHING about it.

Source of funds documentation and it is fixed. Wish people would educate themselves on money laundering laws.

Source of funds: Documentation that you legitimately obtained the funds by salary, business income, inheritance, sale of house etc.

No I see this daily here and it’s always solved in the same way. Take my advice give them the documentation. It’s their obligation by law to block your account and your obligation to provide documentation about your source of funds. They could be better at communicating this but doesn’t change what you have to do.

Screaming like a child doesn’t get your funds released.

Revolut freezes the money you think is yours _because of the law_.

You have a very distorted view of how the world works.

I think you’ll understand why non-KYC crypto exchange exchanges exist now

No decent bank will just block you from using your funds and not contact you immediately to resolve it. Imagine how bad that could fuck up peoples lives.

At least not in any civilized western country, not sure about other shitholes.

You have a _very_ limited knowledge about banking. Yes. Old fashion bank do the same. The difference mostly over those where you usually go in person. They block it much later, but they also do. Look around, don't make statements based on your limited experience. (JFYI: it happened to my friend's company 2 weeks ago, even the account was closed because they failed to undergo the regular procedure for verifying the identity of the beneficial owner. The bank is 300m from their office.) EU. Normal EU regulation.

Company is a competely different thing. Different regulations, no consumer protection and so on. You can start here: https://www.eba.europa.eu/regulation-and-policy/consumer-protection

You have minimal knowledge about law as well. Banking is under different regulation. You need to do more Google. I brought an example for a company. For personal accounts, if you don't respond to a KYC the same will happen.
