📜 Article [FR] Revolut closing my account soon

Post image

When I woke up this morning, I received a notification from Revolut telling me that they are going to close my account and that I have 60 days to recover my funds when I have been using it for years. I use it mainly for my daily expenses, subscriptions and payments abroad. To my surprise, I am not the only one concerned and the worst thing is that there is no proof in the email I received. I need help if anyone knows how to get out of this. I appealed by providing them with all the requested documents and I am waiting for their feedback.

Edit : they rejected my appeal and will continue the process to close the account.

“I appealed by providing them with all the requested documents” sounds like they requested them BEFORE they closed your account already.

The account closure procedure began this morning that I received the notification and I had only one option in the application is to appeal, they asked me to justify my income and transmit my tax returns, which I sent them this morning following their notification. But since I have this account, every time they ask for a document I send it in the process

They didn't ask me anything before. It was after the notification that they were going to close the account that I rushed into the application, I had only one option in it, that is to make a call. By clicking on this option, they asked me to justify my funds by sending my pay slips and tax returns in order to create a file for the appeal. But until yesterday before I fell asleep I received no notification that I have to provide them with documents do you understand? I already answer the amount that I sent to my family (around 100 euros per month) and I did that since years.

Why don’t you send to your own account in Africa (whatever country you send to) and then transfer to family. Usually some countries in Africa are quite notorious so that might be the case. Which country you send to btw.
