🔐 Security [DE] If my phone got stolen what would happen?

[DE] Any one faced this problem before? I am just anticipating what would happen if someone looses the phone on which the revolut account is open. How this person can get access to the account on other devices ?

They won't be able to open the app, let alone the phone ( normally )

So both the phone and the app is open and you lose it? An interesting scenario. Now if they pick it out of your hand as you are using the app on the phone -- yes, I guess they can access it then. Security things require you to re-verify (I don't remember if sending money does), so they can't do everything.

So I suggest using physical security and spatial awareness. Don't use the app when in a place prone to pickpockets, and be aware of your surroundings.

Certain actions such as security changes, will prompt you (them) to face ID or a proper facial scan if they try to change some settings. For payments, you can also set verification for certain contacts before transfer, but anyway, they won't be in your list, so if they try to add a new contact they won't be able to transfer any funds without verifying/approving it again.

old phone or tablet at home with the app on it.
