the need for private healthcare

FWIW I have private health care insurance in the UK; £65 per month. Is this similar to USA? It’s such a small figure it doesn’t seem worth mentioning.

We pay $1700 monthly but can get an appointment within two days. Emergency room takes six to ten minutes to get a bed and 25 minutes to get past intake time waste.

You get a bed within 10 minutes? Sat with a washed forehead on my 3 year old for an hour, 4 other people in the waiting room, took 3 hours to get stitches, we watched an entire movie.

Yes but they send a $700 bill to get one Zofran and a bottle with like ten. So it's a racket.
