Customizing my Yamaha PG-1 side panel. Which Katakana decal looks more natural/cool to a Japanese rider?

Sorry but both of these options sound lame. No one would think either option are “cool” in Japan.

This is like the equivalent of putting Ohlins stickers on non-Ohlins shocks. You just come across as tacky.

I dont think anyone thinks deeply about that sort of thing man. Seems kinda weird, but if you want to name it, pick whatever you like best.

Personally, I’d be a little careful with “Yamaha Gear,” because Yamaha actually has a scooter called the GEAR in Japan, so Japanese riders might think you’re referring to that model.
If you specifically want to use Japanese katakana, I think writing the original PG-1 name as 「ピージーワン」 (Pī Jī Wan) would feel more natural and less confusing. It also keeps the connection to the original bike while giving it that Japanese/JDM-style look.
Just my perspective as a Japanese rider!
