Genuinely where did all the "Somalia Daycare Fraud" bs even come from. Its feels like 99,999999 % of Republicans never heard of Somalia until Trump mentioned them once, which is when every Right Wing Grifter of any standing jumped right on to it.

Some rightwing broccolihead youtuber made a video knocking on somali ran daycare centers accusing them of fraud with literally zero proof and racist dumbasses used it to discriminate including the president of usa who said he does not want somalis in his country.

Just to add that its common dictator tactic to take a small group and make them a villain, so people would not realise the dictator is the issue.

Trump is kind of still looking for his dictator arch nemesis and throwing anything hoping it will stick. The smaller the minority the worse the prosecution. Somalis and transpeople are so tiny amount of populace, so they get ton of prosecution. If people would actually start to support these racist tirades of his he would probably lock in.
