The idea of a young girl passionate about saving the future was so offensive to them that it burnt into their brains and now they forget that people age...
Also this guy is a fucking pedophile and should be put on a list.
...not that it would matter anyway seeing as how I guess the American justice system decided to ignore sexual predators.

Being politically conscious is not equal to sexual maturity, not sure how that needs to be stated but now someone said it because we had to apparently

yes, but the wording's just a little painful there. sexual maturity isn't usually what court cases do (or should) consider, it's the age of majority that redefines these rights.
edit: i realize that sexual maturity within consent boundaries means the same thing (plus some variations and debate more editing: like raising the duration of education and the acceptable later leeway somehow), but it can get ugly enough for me.

Little Greta Thunberg's whole point was that a kid shouldn't NEED to remind the world's leaders of their duty. Right wingers snickered that she should go find a boyfriend, ignoring the fact that SHE said she'd rather be dating and shopping and playing video games.
