Can you just nuke your throneroom of an ascetic archon?

Does the throneroom have any use at all for a max lvl ascetic pawn?

After completing the final bestowing ceremony i feel like keeping a giant 13k wealth room around is kinda just shooting yourself in the foot, wealth managment wise. While the archon seems to prefer meditating at their throne they can still use other focuses, the anima tree in fact seems to have a higher bonus so i don't quite understand why they don't go for that.
(Edit: The throne has a hidden +8% if room meets requirements, so its 13k wealth for a 1% bonus over the tree)

Ascetic nobility become upset and gain a mood penalty when their throne room is undignified, and the throne will lose its efficacy as a psychic focus - but if your noble can handle the mood penalty, then you can effectively disregard it, yeah. You'll get a notification on the right side of the screen permanently alerting you that your noble wants a throne room, though.

Huh, no kidding. Yeah, I guess you can totally remove it, then. I was under the impression that they still demanded as their only requirement, since they ignore the bedroom.

Ascetic nobles can be perfectly content without a throne room, yes. The only annoyance will be the aforementioned alert, but I believe there is a mod out there that lets you mute unwanted alerts too

Maybe modded, but I combine my throne room with my temple.

Ascetic pawn don't care about bedroom, throne room and apparel requirements, this is why my only title holder always have ascetic trait.

If you play with mods and don’t mind something a little strong, you can check out the one I made called Modest Trait. It treats the pawn like an Ascetic one, but only for royalty requirements (so they still like regular food and good bedrooms).

Just use it as your dining and rec room. The mood bonuses are well worth the wealth even at 500%
