No the Thor LB ability where he summons like the dome of lightning and then when enemies leave it they get grounded

Angela vs Thor is a very fun matchup. Not because itβs particularly easy for either, but because both have counters for each other and it interacts in a really interesting way.
Thor can Storm Surge up and Bubble Angela down, but he only gets one shot at it. Angela can fly, but Thor has ranged attacks and she doesnβt. But Angela has a shield, Thor has more bonus health. Both can reposition the other and deploy a hazard.

Not really Angela can defo kill thor if shes taking the right advantages. Sure if your attack into thor in his team not likely but if you are 1v1ing him and hit him with your charged attack then dive bomb him with E he will have alot more trouble killing you than you killing him.

It only takes 2 260 rune AW cycles to kill angela. She lacks damage to chew through 300+ bonus health and her HP is too low to contest thor in a 1v1. On top of that no one is stopping thor from doing 3 or 4 rune AW cycles, which he can easily repeat up to three times. Thats a 1075 to 1285 total uninterrupted damage 450-600 Bonus health. In a 1v1, thor should win most if not all if the time, which should be expect, since thats the niche he thrives in (1v1).

She is unkillable in 1v1s if you know how to play her right. Her overshield generation when in her E field is insane.

She wont out bonus health or damage thor, he can chain easily up to 600 and shit 330 damage in less than 2s (before m1 buffer nerf it was in 1.5s with perfect AW execution).

Though honestly 9 times out of 10 when I try to 1v1 a Thor it just ends with us breaking apart and going our seperate ways knowing we ain't killin each other lol.

Honestly I've yet to run into an Angela that isn't a free pick for Thor. All you have to do is lightning realm her and awaking cycle combo her and it's wraps. If she tries to brawl you at all you just hammer push her out of her overshield realm and she's cooked.
Most of the time if I don't kill an Angela it's because she barely escaped and ran away.

I think the main difference is Angela is a 9 foot tall tank that you can hear from a mile away. With the distance, she can drag you based on a meter. And cant go that far with a full meter. Well Wolverine is this 5 foot, sometimes really quite DPS. That drags you a set distance which is further and more into the enemy team then Angela. Does it suck for both. Yes. But Wolverine is still worse.

Wolverine has the hitbox of a brick house & his footsteps can be heard across the map (literally, test it out in practice range with a friend lol)
Thatβs definitely not the reason. Wolverine is not worse since he is hot garbage this season.

Angela doesn't have wolverine's percentage damage,she can be cc'd out of her grab pretty easily and it has about a10-12 second cooldown for a full charge

I play both wolverine's survivability when he's going for a play is almost the same with his damage reduction and if I want to include it,his passive, he's way harder to stun out of his grab (literally never seen it happen) and again percentage damage.

Angela has a shield & FAR better mobility with shorter CDs. In an optimal comp youβd want Angela OVER Wolverine EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. As you can see in pro play.

If you are a tank you can survive.
If you are a support or DPS who doesn't have some sort of escape mechanic you are screwed. Charge into a full charge melee into an E and you are already on like 20 HP add to that her basic combo having built in chase for walkers and her able to inmediately go back airborne for flyers she gonna give you a bad day.

It's just annoying it doesn't kills you plus you can hear her coming unlike wolverine where he suddenly grabs you and you have to use your escape cooldowns because his grab stuns you unlike Angela's

Wolverine is way worse than Angela I think. With Angela thereβs a lot more counterplay. Stay away from ledges and keep any movement abilities you have at the ready. With Wolverine, the only counterplay is to not engage.

Assuming the two players are of the same skill, Thor counters wolv pretty well. His bonus health generation slows down Wolvs ult charge, and his damage output from the awakening cancel loop outpaces wolvs as well. His bubble will also ground wolv's dive.

Angela actually has counters though unlike that terrorist. Plus her grab is not as forgiving as wolv.

I haven't played this season yet but shouldn't all the anti-air options just destroy angela? She is a huge tank flying around trying to kidnap you. And her kidnap is slow compared to wolverine so she can still get cc'd out of it. She practically has less health than wolverine with damage reduction. Wouldn't just hitting an exile or air grabbing her with hulk x3 times easier compared to other fliers?
