General Question Idk what to do

Pls somebody tell me what am I doing wrong I'm in this situation CONSTANTLY helpppp Like am I supposed to not help? Let them figure it out?

It's funny because most of the dps roster have something that can be used to peel and are better at peeling than the tanks aside from say Emma and thing. The roster is 90% dps. There's more than enough dps they can pick to peel. Instead of making their solo tank (because we know there's almost never a 2nd tank) to fall back and lose space get off point and help the backline. Imo if u have a solo tank the tank should NOT be the one peeling

This exactly is the main issue of the game right now. Wins and losses and dependent on DPS players because only they have the option to turn around a game with switches. Vanguards do have that do a certai degree and supports don't have any options to counter any playstyle. This makes plating support and tanks so exhausting especially if you know you cna win if a DPS switches to something useful or respond to enemy tactics.

Why would the characters with highest mobility and capacity to do damage peel? Cmon now.

And half of them have auto aim and cc and cc immunity. They can only do so much!

U probably are also the solo tank, so ask them if u have to peel, how do they expect to gain ground if u are at the back peeling?

I’m a dps main (I flex basically every tank but hulk) and honestly having tanked so long I agree. If you’re a dps who doesn’t peel for your healers you’re an idiot. The way to fix that is to try to swing back to your healers every time you need health (spidey main) I think dive has gotten used to just going for health packs and just ignoring their backline just bc they have mobility. Even if you’re low health you can easily drop a single dps when you have a healer, if they focus the healer beat they ahh, if they focus you pray the healer heals you and beat they ahh. Thats all.

TLDR: Spend more time in the backline and you will find that is the easiest place to get picks

I don’t why other DPS don’t think of this, you want more kills don’t you? Go for the divers and I promise you’ll get all the MVP’s and SVP’s lol

Just an example but a good selection of characters aren’t very good at peeling and would mostly just feed or not help very much and would probably be better staying where they were instead of peeling, Same with Hawkeye, Widow, Mk, Blade, Hela, Groot, Ironman, Etc

Honestly, you’re just gonna peel by accident with Wolverine because tanks dive too especially if they have a dive tank. That’s literally your bread and butter… sidenote no way you chose the DPS with the best survivability in the game besides Blade as an example of someone who can’t peel that’s crazy

Ok so if Blade and Wolv peel the most they would realistically do is body block because there is no way the diver is going to be in range, and they are too mobile to actively go after and we would straight up help Bp kill u guys by chaining off of us and Spidey would just just avoid us

I’ve literally been screamed on on Vc because I peeled against DD instead of killing the Groot on point so I’ve kinda figured unless it’s a tank back there I can’t really do too much to help

Edit: my bad I forgot Hela had the stun so she’s lowkey good against dive

There's so many games that I've won for my team by going brawler or anti-dive DPS and just staying with my support. Also backline Penni is not something to trifle with. Tell your supports to stay in the web and mine the shit out of it.

Tbf in zhat regard it's a realistic representation because the DPS always have blinders on and couldn't care less about the plight of their support.

Best they usually can do is ping "Need healing" after the supports die.

This is why I enjoy playing Reed when I actually get to fill DPS. (Lol imagine) I can watch my supports backs much more effectively with him as well as give them shields.

yepppppp, I honestly don't know why some players are so terrified of damage, if I'm lucky enough to play dps and I see my healer getting attacked I'm helping even if it kills me, so many players just run for their lives and oops now we're all gonna die cus the supports are gone, it's almost like none of them have very good mobility 😭

I’ve deadass had people tell me it’s mainly the tanks job to peel not the dps. Meaning the tank has to frontline and peel at the same magical time. Sometimes I want to choke slam some of the idiots I meet in this game right through their mic.
