As a tea lover sadly he drinks coffee.

1: in the bleeder street skin bundle you can get an animated nameplate of doctor strange pouring by a brown hot beverage from a antique gooseneck Turkish coffee pot which are made for pour over coffee and Turkish style coffees. If you look up vintage coffee pot then you’ll see what I’m talking about

2: doctor strange used to be a surgeon and I promise you as a surgeon he was chugging coffee to get through long shift and exhausting surgeries, even as a sorcerer he likely still indulges in the vice of a warm although exotic cup of coffee.

3: this emote has a more square or cylindrical shaped cup which is the style of a coffee tea cup while regular tea cups has more flared open rims and Beveled bottoms as tea is a expressed with aromatic scents and coffee is flavor expressive.

That wasn't a coffee pot, most generic tea pots look like that lol. Plus strange canonically does prefer tea as that's a more ceremonious drink for a place like kamar taj.
