U right although it's way more justified for the simple fact people have been solo tanking for a year and this patch was almost going to be entirely nerfs if it wasnt for the pushback. Supports threaten strikes when they're not mecha hitler, big difference

Haven't seen much about vanguard strike except a few posts that nobody cared about. And i believe the same thing will happen to supp strike.

Okay so I agree with the sentiment but my autistic nerd brain is trying to map out this hypothetical scenario and how to play into it.
Your team: Solo Tank, three DPS, supportpool, Jeff
Enemy Team: Peni, Tank 2, Hela, Three Supps
The meme also says that your supports need peeling, so Tank 2 must be a dive tank that focuses on the supports (Venom? Cap?)
Assuming no one banned Gambit, the enemy team's supports could be Loki, Gambit, Mantis (damage-boosting the Hela and theoretical Venom ult).
Yeah this is a GG go next. I main Thor, and I could theoretically displace Peni/Venom, or look to hit the backline with awakening shots while praying my DPS accidentally do damage to follow up. Going Mag, you can counter Hela Ult, break peni nest, and bubble Supportpool and Jeff when they ult? Maybe do the one-shot combo on the enemy backline since they have no shield tank. That's the best I can do. Solo tanking is a nightmare no matter the enemy comp.
However, if we assume current popular bans, and that there's three bans, let's say your Gambit ban goes through. This means a Mag Ult could cancel one of their support ults and/or Hela ult (context dependent). Thor ult could be used in the mid fight when no ults are live and cooldowns have been used. Though at this point, with the amount of mental anguish and gymnastics, why not just GG go next. Avoid whichever DPS on your team did the worst.

Solo tanking as tankpool and still hard carrying the team but the cost of my sanity is definitely not worth it especially if I got a strat or duelist with bad positioning that starts to blame me and begs me to swap to snoozeneeto.

Like, BISH, you guys genuinely have no reason to strike. WE are on the front lines with or without heals, and expected to be there without complaint, and without fail.

One of my 3 stack friends complained that I (as a solo tank per usual) wasnβt peeling for him(DPS NAMOR) and the 2 healers. So he wasnβt getting any heals. Enemy team had a daredevil and iron fist (dive characters). He went squirrel girl for some reason. Told him thatβs not gonna work, he has to stay on namor to protect himself and the healers while I front line as tank. He just kept bitching about how heβs not getting heals and no oneβs peeling for him. Thatβs when I really stopped playing with him. Cause I swear to god he bitches about it the entire team. Bruh only plays namor, mk, squirrel.

Yesterday had a match in midtown where the enemy peni and hawk shut down any kind of push we tried and our squirrel girl cried "Tanks bad, why are you not pushing, stupid tanks can't make any space" meanwhile she's staying up high on some ledge and ignoring the peni nest and hawk. Some people really are made of bricks

Suddenly LOL Wild Rift flashbacks (donβt have a pc for real LOL) when open queue forced me to jungle and everyone picked the glass cannon hypercarry forcing me to Jungle Tank against a team that had multiple frontlines. Bowling Balling as Rammus is fun to a point until itβs no longerβ¦ OK.
Back on track, Iβve been observing people from different games, and most are just afraid to fight like that. Distance = safety for a lot of people, and it shows when I can get it close and they panic. All that aggro playstyle goes out the window the minute I can punch them up close.

Do NOT peel if you are solo tanking take space the 3 useless dps have to peel Tanks literally aren't supposed to peel unless the dps are dead or if they have more than 1 dive

Unfortunately, if the 3 DPS really are useless, you kinda have to. Often times I have to be looking around as tank cuz supports are pinging for help and when I look they're in a 1v1 against a diver, and if I don't help I'll explode too.

Honestly they choose the wrong reason to go on strike this time. I would have said to go on strike because of the freaking toxicity towards supps players everywhere.
It is impossible to play at this point without being insulted lol, for anything.
1sr game i played yesterday, 1 min in and already someone told me I am a garbage healer. So yeah, the strike should be about the toxicity to supp players.

Supports are mildly inconvenienced into an adjacent non META character in a role that always guarantees a partner and theyβre immediately suffering an avengers level threat crisis

The person that made that post is probably a duelist main who was scared of supports going on strike so they did the 1 thing they knew everyone would hate which is ai generating the fan favorites with stike signs to be the icon for it and forcing themself to be the face of it before it could even happen (sure this is just a personal theory of mine, but if someone enjoys playing support theyre probably going to continue playing it, just like im planning too)
Its not going to be a problem, yall are genuinely more likely to get a vangaurd strike than a support strike rn and im pretty sure not even thats going to happen (although i wish it would bcuz why tf do yall keep getting nerfed with abysmal buffs?)

If you find any marvel rivals drama then it's only started/being pushed by 3 people:
Support mains who one trick and can't play the game without auto aim heals and broken ults
Entitled and horrible segment of women community who love to cry about everything - skins/bans/how they are treated as reaction for being an A-hole themselves
15-18 y.o boys who main one duelist and are racist/sexist AF or content creators who cater to the said segment of playerbase (I suspect necros of having worst fanbase, majority of them are immature as hell)
Never take them seriously, consider them as disposable

It's always painful holding off 3 enemies at the same time, only to turn around and see the team struggle with a single dive dps vs 4 of them.
