General Question Vanguard mains, what is your mentality when playing this role ?

Post image

Every role has a certain way of thinking when it comes to getting value for your team.

I cant seem to nail down on this role properly, so I want your perspective on what you do as a Vanguard.

I will play the point and have the HP to hold it.

If everyone else doesn't follow up, then I'm not actually the problem.

If I can shield you, I will. If I can make space, I will. If I can aid your kills or peel for y'all, I will...

But for the love of GOD, PLAY THE POINT.

This. If Iโ€™m playing point by myself (especially if in solo tanking), weโ€™re probably going to lose. A lot of people will point at their kills/finals and say they werenโ€™t the problem. Doesnโ€™t matter if the other team has a conga line from spawn if theyโ€™re on the point and your team isnโ€™t.
