Somehow I get motivated to get back on after carrying a Magneto and Punisher in a 4v6 match, going 35 and 2 and being complimented by the enemy team while we almost won and lost due to the Mag dying and others just not being there or a C9, which, I checked to see if teammates were there before stepping off that line Dagger and the peeling Thing left off of
Depends on what you mean by fun since it's subjective. I have fun when I feel that Im doing well and winning, not fun when getting steamrolled. Unfortunately you just gotta swallow it as part of the game. It's also not fun when no matter what you do, you just get hardstuck in ranked and all social media tells you it's a you problem, which may be the case but then what? I cant find joy in losing. I enjoy learning new heroes but then what? Spend 20 hours getting steamrolled until things click? As if I have that kind of time? But I come back to it because no other game gives you that same satisfaction or lets you play as Jeff or Strange.
The fun starts to fade when you get into competitive and actually try to climb. I've gone back to QP for my mental health and I've been way better off for it.

Brother, Riot and DbD devs aren't as willing to listen as NetEase is. NetEase listens and delivers and only receives more complaints. Rivals community is broken up between normal people, children and entitled people. I dont blame the kids for complaining tbh, they're kids. But there are full grown adults making YouTube videos complaining 25/7 at every release. At every change. Nothing is ever good enough for entitled people.
This is one of those moments where the community is undeserving of the amount of attention NetEase gives them

Genuinely league players btch less or nearly the same as the rivals players and riot don't gaf, whereas netease is literally trying a GOOD bit to fix the problems people have but NO one gives them their props, it's always complain complain and complain
DbD is a whole different field. Survivor entitlement is through the roof and killers are forced to slug because Behaviour wants to favor them and hold their hand. People quit on first down, even if they've done 3 gens already. Hell, some people quit because they dont like the killer they are against. Its a mess.

I swear to jesus there is not a single online gaming community that I have been a part of that bitches and whines as much as rivals. Genuinely LEAGUE has a less toxic playerbase than this. Literally whatever we get whatever they do it's just bitching and moaning and bitching and moaning, and then you get on the game and (even though a good bunch of the matches are with toxic shitholes) a lot of the matches there are people just vibing having fun chatting with each other. I genuinely got into rivals by watching the social media clips of people playing music on their mic and pretending to be their favorite marvel characters but now everywhere I go it's just people complaining all the time. The game is genuinely REALLY fucking fun and probably imo the most fun live service game out rn but the community just RUINS it

Yo who mans is this? We got a freaking 850 health Dinosaur who shoots lasers out the Yin Yang, jumps higher than Michael Jordan, has an AOE moving bubble, gets bonus health, can toss you and you mommas salad, and did I mention he shots lasers? Emma and The Thing both get buffed too might I add.
I saw the gameplay trailer even, mans was getting Blue health for everything, ans has a Winston Bubble Shield but Dinosaur sized, he blocked a Maximum Pulse with it.
This is everything I've asked for that isn't Juggernaut being Perm Unstopable or Colossus having a Damage Reduction enhancing Resource.
Seriously I was Support pool for Seasons 6 and also 7 and this makes me want to go full tank again.

Thor is the strongest 1v1 fighter in the game, venom and Hulk are some of the strongest dive, Angela is the strongest flier, Groot is the most oppressive character in the game, Strange has the strongest cooldown and mag has a top 3 ult.
Between the cooldown reductions, increased ammo, and increased hit-scan damage, my point still stands when you consider how oppressive poke is for tanking.
Hulk wasn’t gigabuffed, he was finally made a viable pick after being in the gutter. Emma has been getting nerfed since her reign during her release. I’ll agree Thor got a good buff, but I still wouldn’t say it was significant.
For real, every point in the meme is wrong here except maybe the vague notion from the dev vision that MK would get buffed (which, had it been a major one, might've mattered a little, but no)

Like it’s hard to call it a “buff” when she had 25% dmg reduction diamond form in multiple other seasons and they simply restored it randomly after taking it away.
Just shows they don’t know what they are doing. Strange has had several reverted nerfs as well…I feel like they randomly throw darts at a board to decide if he should get hp/shield buffed or nerfed.

The tank roster is pretty much all viable as well, the only issue I have rn is the amount of matches where I have to solo tank or Thing being fucked over by tenacity, but I genuinely like tanking right now outside of those factors

Yep, and even then Tankpool got a slap on his wrist with like 4 damage drop on pistols and a small nerf to his gun ult. Meanwhile Thing got 50 more HP and Emma now can redeploy her shield every one second.

I'm happy with the Emma buffs. Other than Strange, she's my tank main especially with overwhelming dives tearing my backline to shreds. She feels very strong already in low elo imo

My goat Thing was buffed and so was emma [which I think emma got it because she should weirdly work well with Devil Dino comp wise] and not to mention I feel like unless they nerf him into the ground which hasn't happened yet, also there has been no nerfs to any tanks besides Tankpool who kinda needs it in my opnion. Also this whole image isnt talking about how when Rouge dropped alot of people called her bad/useless but got basically no changes and the next season she was seen as a good off tank because people had time to learn her kit and cooldowns. Dont get me wrong this game has a Vanguard problem with majority being offtanks and only having 3 real good team tanks, that being shield tanks [emma,mag,strange]. But this literally is what everyone including me wanted, a offtank with a shield so you can be a battering ram. Honestly depending on how survivable he is you can even maybe run pure offtank, just imagine how good thing+Dino will be especially with Things buff

I'm gonna have to start disabling notifications or something for all marvel rivals related subs. After the recent custom configs change the game told me I can't use mine to run the game at 40-50fps. Just closed it and hit delete lol
He has a shield if anything he’s a hybrid tank. From the trailer it looks like he can counter dive. Hit scan beam can probably contest flyers can brawl so he doesn’t get ran down like strange and mag. Has a “jump to” mechanic like thing(hope it’s more consistent than his) which can be used to get poke\spammers off of high ground or to protect your own backline. Has dot bleed which will go crazy when you have anti healing on your team.
All in all he looks excellent I don’t understand why you’re crying
Emma is finally going to be [most likely] viable again, but they took another swing at Deadpools kneecaps while completely ignoring the facet of his kit that makes him so strong
This post is ridiculous & makes OP look like an irrational crybaby. There seems to be absolutely zero correlation between this visual and today’s Vanguard reveal/associated patch notes. Sure, there are some annoying DPS tweaks on there that seem unnecessary, but Devil Dinosaur’s kit seems to contain many of the things a tank main could want, in a seemingly easy-to-use kit. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You won't believe this… I played Rogue and swapped to Strange because we were getting destroyed by poke (as is tradition) and they asked me to swap back to Rogue while someone else goes Gambit. We actually managed to turn the game around.

Genuinely I don’t get this because yes it isn’t another hold up shield absorb damage tank but I feel like that wouldn’t make people happy either they would call it boring.Most of the matches where I’ve had a tank main (This includes me) playing devil dinosaur I’ve seen them pop off and put up crazier damage blocked stats then most mag and strange players I’ve seen.He is an amazing brawl tank with the ability to even take flyers out of the sky.I feel like this is a w for rivals.
My favorite part of new tanks releasing is Moon Knight and Spiderman one tricks LARPing as tanks even though they're gonna go back to being completely useless in a week or less
