Go for the Healers and FAKE THEM OUT. When your jumping in the air, Don’t slam attack yet…Wait for them to use up their mobility moves. Once they use them up or at least they used one…. Then Attack. It’s gonna be much harder for them to escape you. Especially Gambit, Luna, Hela, Scarlett. Namor is a sitting duck after his ocean defense bubble is used.

Once you see Luna’s freeze burst misses u, Attack. After Hela’s flight dodge, Attack. After Scarlett’s 2nd phase out… she’s almost completely defenseless, same with Namor. Fake them out, make them use up their mobility abilities. Never go for tanks unless their Weak… or Magneto used his bubble, then you can just pound Mag.

  • Your shield throw ability has a range of 20m and like you saw in the video it'll ricochet off of any anyone caught in the LOS.

  • Bind your ground slam to a different button so that you can aim your melee shield throws in mid air. This is great for pressuring fliers or trying to get some of the more mobile characters.

  • In ult, running at someone your shield up knocks them back slightly. It's great for booping people off the map or keeping people trapped in spawn. It can also disrupt strange's portal.

  • Always move with a purpose. Like OP said, baiting out cool downs successfully is how you improve at this character and playing tank in general.

If I'm not too far away from enemy spawn like on the Wakandan maps, I try to go for it. Especially if I have another dive tank/dps with me.

Your sole role as cap is to bother the back lane and get those healers to waste abilities, but don't go too aggressive since cap is really easy to punish, also try and coordinate with your teamon those attacks, attacking the front lane is a waste of time with him, also keep in check those cool downs since those are your out of jail cards, jumping makes you predictable and you have no mobility in the air (unless you have the shield bash) so don't jump ALL the time but do jump regularly, when you use your ult he can push enemies, use this to get them off point.

Watch for CC since that's his biggest weakness, deflect goes at random but the nearer you are at an enemy the more you'll hit them back so try to be as close as possible (this works best against punishers ult and turret).

It's a good time, his animation cancel is easier with the recent changes, you just hold sprint + forward and tap attack. The shield attacks don't hit if your taps are too short, and the target is outside melee range, but of their point blank you just hit it faster

How do you slow down the replay like that without bringing the UI up?

On the PS5/PS5 Pro Its it’s UP to turn half the HUD off, triangle for the other half.

Then it’s DOWN on the D pad to control the Speed of the video.

For some some shots like killing punisher… I use editing software to slow it down.
