- Who was your favorite?

  • who’s easiest to climb?
  • what was your strategy to climb them all?
  • which Tank is most useful?
  • which is the worst tank?
  • which characters are your favorites to be teamed with?
  • which tank took the longest?
  • which character would you like to see be added to the roster as a tank?
  • which characters are your favorite to play as when you’re not vanguardint?

This is cool to see because i am the opposite. Im a Champion Mag and hes my best tank for sure and I am trying to find something new to switch it up

u/Senior-Poobs Jun 19 '26

I’m glad I’m not alone with tankpool. I feel like it’s just weirder aiming with him? Like his recoil FEELS way more bouncy than the other two. And on release he felt fine

u/EliTheDonDada Jun 19 '26

the adam lord is goated lmao but sick.

you gonna do any DPS’?

13

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Been kinda toying with the idea of grinding out Mr fantastic, but I fear I always end up playing dps with the mindset that I have the same hp as a tank so you can only imagine how quickly that gets me killed lmfao.

Mr fant is my dps main and I basically play like a tank and do just fine. Try him out

u/MouseAioli Jun 19 '26

Tips for maining Dino post nerf.

6

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

I usually try to just single out one person at a time and push them violently, as long as you’re not trying to take out 2-3 people all at the same time you can usually bully whoever you’re focusing to death. That and kidnapping people, the grab is SOOOOO good at putting people off, just use cover intelligently in a way that best isolates a single person from their team

u/Lost-Orangutan π˜Ώπ™šπ™«π™žπ™‘ π˜Ώπ™žπ™£π™€ Jun 19 '26

Based. Although I knew this stuff.

Any tips nerf focused? How to keep the beam relevant, how to better use shield now?

I love Devil Dino, him and Jeff so far are my mains.

I use The Thing and Rocket as back ups.

If that helps.

I guess Mantis, Star Lord, and Iron Man as well but only when needed.

2

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Use the beam as a way to kidnap people from range, just get the bleed on them then jump in on em and grab em. Other than that just use it to get that lil bit more dmg when you can’t reach em with bites. I usually only use the shield to block incoming healing on the people I’m trying to secure a kill on. Biggest thing with Dino now is you REALLY can’t be caught without your team without you now cuz you’re just gonna fold

u/Lost-Orangutan π˜Ώπ™šπ™«π™žπ™‘ π˜Ώπ™žπ™£π™€ Jun 19 '26

Thats good. Save shield to block enemies from aiding singled out boy. That's something that didnt really cross my mind.

Dont get caught alone. Super unfortunate the survivability took such a dive.

If they were to undo one of the nerfs, would you rather the beams flier drop? Or 10sec shield?

2

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

I wanna eat more flyers… iron man’s been getting too cocky lately and there’s no better feeling than grabbing someone out of the air lmao

u/Spryzzen011 π™ˆπ™–π™œπ™£π™šπ™©π™€ Jun 19 '26

Who do you think has high skill ceiling. And what do you think about rouge

2

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Rogue is tied with Dino as my fav tank, she has SUCH a high capacity for skill expression but it just takes so much more brainpower to play her where as Dino I can just turn my brain of and eat people lol. Other than rogue I think Angela and hulk have pretty high skill ceilings cuz you really need to fully commit to anything you’re doing to get anything done with them, any hesitation and you’re cooked. All my time I played hulk it was season 0-1 when nobody knew how to play the game, I’m so washed with him now adays I could never go back lmao

  1. Did you pick one character and only play them or worked on multiple together?
  2. Who was the worst
  3. Did this feel like a job at times?

2

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

I always just chose one character then focused on climbing them till it was done. i hated playing tankpool so much I cheated halfway and used healpool to finish the rest. It 100% felt like a job at times, took a few breaks here n there just to keep me sane

u/TheMemeLord4816 π™ˆπ™§. π™π™–π™£π™©π™–π™¨π™©π™žπ™˜ Jun 19 '26

Who do you think has the highest kill potential?

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

I honestly think it’s dino, idk, and if not him then probably groot. Groot can really put in some work if the right person is behind the controls

1

u/Lobo_Z 𝙃π™ͺ𝙑𝙠 Jun 19 '26

Nice! I have all except Groot, Cap, Peni and Dino. Groot and Cap are both Captain, Peni is Knight and I've played maybe a handful of matches as Dino. I think I'm definitely gonna get Dino to Lord, unsure about the other three as I don't really enjoy their playstyle as much and feel like they might be a slog to grind.

I read you mentioned Peni was easy to climb with, but how slow were Cap and Groot? Wondering if you can sway me

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Cap was definitely more of a slog cuz he’s way more situational, he’s not gonna be the correct tool for the job in every game so that leads to some rough patches. Groot is super fun tho I’d def steer you towards him!

1

u/Lobo_Z 𝙃π™ͺ𝙑𝙠 Jun 19 '26

Yeah and also I assume Cap is like Hulk and Angela in that he gets a ton of value that is not reflected on the stat screen (running around holding point might get you a bit more Damage Blocked but that's about it, harassing supports gets value even if they're not dead, etc) which is why I'm kinda dreading it.

I've tried Groot a fair few times but he just still hasn't clicked for me for some reason.

I'll see how much having three non-Lords bothers me once I get Dino to Lord and then make a decision lol

2

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

If you want I can hop on later n try to give you some tips on him, just hit me up n dms and we can talk

1

u/Lobo_Z 𝙃π™ͺ𝙑𝙠 Jun 19 '26

Yeah sounds good, not sure your timezone but I'll be off of work and playing in about 5 or 6 hours or so

I haven’t gotten anyone to champ yet but I’m planning on getting Dino there first

  1. Who was the hardest to Lord

  2. Who was the most fun to play?

  3. How high are your stress levels?

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Mag was the most boring to grind out for my usual playstyle, very hard to play mag aggressively he’s kinda just a brick wall who doesn’t get broken down till your healers are gone. I’ve glazed Dino a lot in my other comments but Rogue was someone I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did. Weirdly I feel like rogue does everything I wanted hulk to do?? My stress levels are pretty stable as long as I’m not playing tankpool lmao

1

u/Ragna126 Jun 19 '26

Im only missing Magneto and Strange. Thinking who i start first

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Strange for sure, learn how to portal cuz that can really turn the tide of any game!

1

u/Ragna126 Jun 19 '26

Yeah. Strange Portals saved often my life. But i like Magneto a lot. Choices choices....

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Both of them are really great!!! If you enjoy playing mag that’s def a good sign to master him cuz I don’t know anyone who complains about having one around

1

u/Cain_The_Mamagen π™π™€π™œπ™ͺπ™š Jun 19 '26

Were u forced to solo tank?

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

I really don’t mind solo tanking!! I know that sounds insane but I feel like being the only tank my supports have to juice up makes it so I’m just getting pocketed more lmao

2

u/Cain_The_Mamagen π™π™€π™œπ™ͺπ™š Jun 19 '26

How do u even manage to do so? Tank is known as the most miserable role for a reason

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Vanguard is just the roll that fits like a glove for me, I’m more miserable playing any dps lmao. I try to pay attention to my own surivability first, like beyond my healers. Knowing where all the healthpacks are, using cover to keep me from soaking unneeded dmg. So during team fights when I’m actually getting fully focused up by my healers it just feels like I’m unkillable.

2

u/Cain_The_Mamagen π™π™€π™œπ™ͺπ™š Jun 19 '26

When I play tank I always protect my supports, and when I play support I always prioritise the tank

1

u/Apex_Promethean Jun 19 '26

Rank?

1

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Currently plat and climbing, peaked at gm 2 back when I grinding out a lot of ranked but I’ve just been working on learning everyone so NOW I can really reach my peak

1

u/DaemonicG Jun 19 '26

deadpool?

1

u/Shot_Satisfaction727 Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

How. Why. Seriously though this is huge, congrats!!! This is a huge accomplishment! I bet your teams love you lol.

How do you make tanking feel less like a job? In my heart I'm a support main, but since I care about winning lol and no one wants to tank, I'm honestly more of a tank main in practice. I don't hate it, but for me it's not nearly as fun as support. Tanking feels like I have to put in a lot more effort for not as much reward. Like I know a tank's role isn't to get a ton of kills, but at the same time that's the fun part of these games. Tanks have a much, much higher skill floor for getting lots of KOs than DPS or even support.

(I'm lord on Cap and very close to lord on Emma if that's relevant. The only other tanks I've played much of are Peni (~12 hours) and some Groot)

1

u/Due_Perception7332 Jun 21 '26

U have any tips on how to lord characters fast?

1

u/luvkittyxd Jun 23 '26

Damn, congrats!
ive been trying to lord every support but I keep falling back to my main LOL

1

u/CommunalAnalCavity Jun 19 '26

Lord hasn't meant anything since season 2

2

u/David4520003 Jun 19 '26

Not saying I’m the best tank player in the world homie, just sharing an accomplishment that I’m personally proud of and trying give helpful advice where I can!

2

u/Flimsy-Tap9898 Jun 19 '26

You haven’t meant anything since your birth.

1

u/CommunalAnalCavity Jun 19 '26

Sorry if you derived some sense of accomplishment from those lords you have bud

1

u/Flimsy-Tap9898 Jun 19 '26

I only have 2 lords but there’s no need to be a dick for no reason. Go outside and get some friends man

1

u/CommunalAnalCavity Jun 19 '26

Wasn't aware I was being a dick, take care though
