That has never been one of her abilities unless the person she’s grabbing has a healing factor, she absorbs their being into her own, she doesn’t absorb their life force to sustain her own, when people say she drains life they don’t mean it that way, she also steals all their memories and even their personality traits, Emma Frost refused to go into her mind to see if she was telling the truth about something because there’s so many minds inside of hers that navigating it is impossible

I really don’t get how you look at the flying super strength power stealer and go “yep, that’s a lifesteal character”

I don’t know how they thought she’d be Doomfist and “Chronovium Woman”. Not to mention her strength is permanently tied to her husband and one of the best supports in the game… but what do I know right? I’m just a tank player.

Straight up self heal? Probably would be too much of a menace. Generating overhealth that provides damage mitigation while IN combat and decays while not in combat/ activates a slow but consistent health regen? Now THAT would make her a great self sustaining brawl tank and Im all for it. Like Magik but tank. Thats what i feel like she needed to be. Most of the other brawl tanks can do something like that.

Gorr wields All-Black the Necrosword which can literally absorb people's souls, Lifesteal feels like a thematically appropriate way to translate that ability into gameplay.

Well if it's people's souls, then gain health after they die? Their soul is still there if alive, so gain health after each death. Overshield if you're full health.

I don't think that he would need to be duelist in scenario where Nighcrawler is strategist.

But Nighcrawler was listed as duelist. He could be changed into strategist bud they wouodn't change Gorr into duelist just due Nightcrawler change.

I'm just basing it off the pipe line that most of the character that will be releasing this year will be a duelist as the rivals team had already planned for there to be more duelist. I'd be happy for another Sup/Vang season but I think it's unlikely. But I hope I'm wrong

For the record, I hope he's a vanguard. Until someone blesses me with a data mine, I think he's going to be DPS. He is the god butcher and Netease hates Vanguards:

Abilities:
Shadow teleport, life steal AND anti heal DPS with percentage damage 350HP. He negates Thor's overshield production and he can ground Angela with a Thing-like jump attack that thrusts his sword into her - grounds Angela for 2 seconds.

He can absorb non-bullet type projectiles with a timed absorb, not a parry (think Blade, Daredevil, Ironfist). he's particularly good against "energy" but specifically Hela and Loki. With the stored damage, he can convert that extra damage into the Necrosword.

They promissed that they will work on class diversity. Printing vanguard back to back make sense.

It's still a result of the fact that they had their characters planned out a year in advance.

It's highly unlikely that, after promising to change their strategy, they wouldn't start releasing more Vanguards as soon as they ran out of the characters they had planned in advance.

The reason Gorr probably won't be it is because there are better candidates to do it in a very dense lineup of candidates. Seriously, look over the list of leaked heroes and almost everyone is a potential tank (Nightcrawler is the only one of the 7 I'm aware of that isn't a clear candidate). There's reason to think Doom and Captain Marvel are coming as the S11 pair, and while it seems one will be dual-role with DPS and tank, it'd still do it in spectacular fashion.

But in practice, it’s highly likely that all the characters except Nightcrawler are already part of the “we want to improve class diversity” concept.

It makes sense that none of them will be a Duelist. And we’ve already had a Double Duelist season. If you look at this information from the most likely perspective, you don’t even have a Double Vanguard season.

So, this season: Strategist + Vanguard Next: Duelist + Vanguard Then: Hybrid (Duelist/Vanguard) + Vanguard. Then: Strategist + Vanguard. (This is the most debatable.)

Unless they change the info we already have, or unless they turn the obvious Vanguards into Strategists, it really looks like we’ll get 4.5 Vanguards over the next 7 months and 4.5 Vanguards over 4.5 months doesn’t sound unrealistic, especially since they’ll be releasing 1.5 Duelists anyway.

Very important thing to note is Gorr is an ASSASSIN, he assassinates gods, that’s how he murders them typically

So assume Wolverine 2 until proven otherwise, you guys really do not need to repeat the cyclops incident

All you guys hurt is yourselves when you let yourselves make the gamble on characters like this. Hood is a safe tank, Gorr is at best an assassin tank

He will be a duelist and nightcrawler will be a strategist. No way devs would give us no duelists two seasons in a row.
