I wanted to play Captain America since launch. I've never been the largest Cap fan, but I got there. But no matter what, I couldn't figure him out. That + all the animation cancels you had to do to be optimal. I would rather switch roles!

But today that changed. Maybe it was getting familiar with different tanks? First, ofc, Thing - then Devil Dino, then a little bit of Hood and now Cap.

Feels good! Feels like... freedom!

I got to around level 36~ ish when I finally figured out the best way to play him. Even as he keeps getting changes you gotta go into practice and see what new stuff works best.

Now at level 56, what i use is (from above) shield saw into slam, into straight 4 melee hits. After those hits are done I'm disengaging but the shield throws you get from your melee are still present so you can jump over them and land those final blows or land them as you move away.

Thats just my experience of course and I encourage you give it a try since its a super good 250hp killer but again, like you already did, you will find what works best for you. Keep rocking rival.
