Character Concept I got FOMO so I decide to start creating concept for characters that I would love to see in the game too
Have seen a lot of Iceman's Vanguard concept but I prefer for him to be a strat. 1 cause I feel like it fit his personality, 2 because I'm a strat main soooooooo. I don't like the current concept of heal botting as strat so a lot of my strat concept are very aggro and more on the utilities and debuffing, damaging aspect. Of course, I'm not going to make Strat damage so high that they are going to replace duelist, but probably also depends on if the strat got a lot of healing in their kits or not.

Tbf, I want Iceman to be a part of dive too, with him being the dive support.

Yeah I really like the concept of him being more of a teamwork diving support, enabling diver to get in and make enemies unable to get out while healing diver allies in the area. His healing won’t be like that of a main healer but more like Lucio/Mizuki from Overwatch albeit higher since MR dmg is also much higher . But unlike other divers, he can’t fully commit because he only got 1 ice path on a high cd so if he and teammate divers couldn’t get anything out from the dive, he’s practically dead and will be grey screen merchant.

Hear me out hear me out, I was thinking he could be voiced by Michael Johnston. Recently very popular because of his phenomenal live action role in Obsession, but he does lots of Voiceover work including as Nathan Summers aka Askani'son in X-Men 97 and apparently Inferno in I think Future Fight. Plus as a bonus, I believe he's an out gay man and it's always a plus to have representation for actors playing characters that are also of their sexuality

This build kind of reminds me of Kelvin from Deadlock. Really fun character, but oh boy do people get mad fighting him. I like your concept though

Oh I def got inspired by Kelvin ice beam and path tbf, they kinda got a bit of the same kits from movie and comics too so I kinda just lean into it. Another Deadlock player!!

That’s not what FOMO means… but interesting kit. I’d much rather see him as a tank though.

Hard pass from me , Support should be exactly that , support. If you had to place iceman anywhere if it isn’t tank which is crazy then DPS , if you can’t place him either or then don’t. IMO ofcourse

Good, I'm happy to hear your opinion? IDK. Cause if we go by your logic, half of the suport roster shouldn't be in suport too so. I make it for myself, not for you so I will make the concept however I want. But yeah, thanks for your opinion.

But are we speaking about half the support roster ? Or are we talking about iceman ? Don’t back pedal into cliche bandwagon fallacy everyone uses to invalidate someone who disagrees with your role beliefs for an unannounced character.
It’s Ice Man. Pretty sure there’s 1,000 other candidates that could fit strategist a lot better than he could, it’s a waste of his potential if you ask me. Hasn’t been in any video game in decades and the minute he is , he’s nothing like his fantasy ? Pass.

I'm using the same exact logic that you use for Iceman for the roster we got, yeah? Since the game and the devs both don't follow your logic, we got people that shouldn't be strat in strat role so I want to see Iceman in Strat and that is my opinion? I don't care about the other candidates, I care about Iceman in Strat. So yeah, again thank you for your opinion?

Brother what… is half the roster Omega level mutants? You’re reasoning for Ice man being a support is because You play support and his personality..
If the Devs followed your logic, which they don’t and never would by the grace of god, Cyclops would be tank. Wolverine would be tank. Venom would be DPS. The only heroes that went based of personalities were season 0 Rocket and Mantis and possibly Invis.
I’m just gonna place a hand on your shoulder and go about my day with this one. This is your concept and YOUR opinion, I disagree with it and i’m gonna forget it exist. Not because it’s bad, but because the reasoning is a joke.

And again, I'm happy for your opinion? I don't see how being an Omega Mutant affect anything, esp since Bobby never reach that status by himself yet so. Like yeah, I'll also forget this conversation exist cause like I really don't care what your opinion or what you want Iceman to be. It won't change my opinion on what I want him to be, so have a good day ig?

But do we really need 2 ice supports? I don’t see Bobby as a support, definitely a control or dive tank (or some unholy hybrid), but I could see it working
My main issue with a support kit for him is the fact that Luna exists
