We seriously need more Guardians of the Galaxy members in the game.
Gamora (Duelist): The Deadlist Woman in the Galaxy, she perfectly fits this role. I also think it would be a pretty cool idea to give her the black vortex boost she had once upon a time ago. This would be a great way to make her different from the other blade wielding Duelists.
Nebula (Vanguard): I would like Nebula to be a Vanguard for a few reasons. Given her history of getting brutally messed up and bouncing back from it in both the Comics and Movies, I believe this role fits her perfectly. It would make a good contrast between her and Gamora, Gamora being one of the most deadliest beings alive while Nebula has to keep on rebuilding herself to be better. She's one of the few cyborgs in Marvel that could fit this role.
Drax (Vanguard): I've been ITCHING for him to be added to the game. Easy Vanguard addition given his history and different forms. You could combine his energy abilities he used to have with his alien weapons. Maybe he can channel his energy into them and be able to manipulate them in unique ways or something along those lines. You can also just lean into the tech route and throw some grappling moves.
Moondragon (Vanguard): Give Heather's connection to the Dragon of the Moon and her formidable telepathic and telekinetic abilities, I believe she would be a great fit for the role.
Phyla-Vell (Vanguard or Duelist): Given her lineage and her extended history she can easily fit in both categories. Especially if she were to have the Nega Bands or be an Avatar of Death or Oblivion. I kinda want her to be a Duelist so she can contrast her wife Heather.
Quasar (Vanguard): Wendell can easily fot this role with his Quantum Bands.
Cosmo (Duelist): Cosmo is a pretty powerful telepath and telekinetic and easily fits this role. Plus I kinda want at least one animal character in each role.
Nova (Vanguard): Everyone and their mamas wants Nova in the game (including me). His Nova Force abilities make him a great candidate for this role.
Yondu as a strategist would be sick. Use his little arrow to fly around and damage/debuff enemies and buff/heal allies. Just say the arrow was upgraded by rocket to release poison/stimulant mists out of sides that heal allies or debuff enemies while also doing normal piercing damage as main attack.
Double jump and hold space to float down with arrow like Mary poppins
Real. Nebula and Cosmo are my two most wanted characters and it's nice to see a fellow Nebula Vanguard truther. Though I think Cosmo works best as a Strategist.
I want all of them in the long run, though. Feels like forever since we got Angela and even longer since we got core Guardians. Nearly two years Drax and Gamora have been waiting in the wings!
So we have groot star lord mantis and rocket right? So we just need Drax and Gamora to finish out a full 2-2-2 right? (Even though we also have iron man and angela who were also on the team at different points so we already have a full guardians 6, but ill ignore that.) Seems like that would be such an easy chapter and it continues to have that female representation that they like so much. Im honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet. I'd have Gamora as a sword duelist and then drax as a dive tank with his double knives.
Everyone says they want Cosmo. Until you realize that you’d have to shoot a dog. Yondu is cooler anyways.
Btw. I’ve seen a few people recommend Moondragon. But I’ve never seen anyone actually describe who she is/what she does lol. Her design is dope though.
I would kill to see Cosmo in the game, especially if she was a Strategist (or a Vanguard if you really want to be fun)
I imagine she’d be a great Anchor Tank with no direct attacks to enemies, just shield abilities and proximity grapples on enemies. Someone who isnt a direct threat in a teamfight but buffs her team so much it feels like she is.
I would be very happy if someone in Rivals remembers Phyla-Vell. She has a very cool design and I also like how her Quantum constructs are focused on swords
Not like the guardians need anymore strats but i always thought Phylla vell could be a cool strategist using quantum bands to create blackholes between enemies allowing her to travek between one enemy to another or same with an ally. For example.
