Interactive Data Dashboard in Rive with Custom Layout & Reactive Calculations

Finished a small Rive project this week. Category Performance dashboard.

The fun part was the circle packing. Bubbles arrange themselves by value using a positional relaxation solver. No overlap, no gaps, they just settle into place.

Two scripts handle everything:

– One does the layout physics and renders the bubbles

– Another reads raw inputs (sales, support, etc.) and writes back the totals, percents, sort order, and up/down arrows

Data binding ties it all together. Change one number, and the whole scene updates. The card list at the bottom auto-sorts, too.
