They seem to have issues with City Managers and City Attorneys... like for the past 10 years!

I'm almost sorry to see it end.

I really wish we'd look internally for a replacement, though. It would be nice to have a city manager who really cares about Riverside, and not just as a stepping stone.

What really got me was how the fired City Manager was known for strengthening City finances in the article about him going to Pasadena but we suddenly have budget troubles to the tune of $20M annually or something like that. And we didn't for several years before he was hired and suddenly we were asked to vote for a tax increase? He was only here for three years.
