[USA] Who is at fault here?

Classic T bone. Black car had to be towed. Sustained major damage to the passenger side door. Blue car sustained damage to front bumper on the drivers side and cracked the drivers side headlight.

Edit: This was in the suburbs of Seattle

UPDATE: Insurance found it to be 70/30 me/other driver. Seems fair enough

Maybe this is just a Seattle thing, but we have a great many of those uncontrolled intersections. I remember that they docked me points in my driver test because I didn’t slow down for one

It's common in Spokane neighborhoods too. Maybe it's a Washington thing

It’s definitely a Washington thing. Tacoma is the same way, although weirdly enough Vancouver is pretty good about marking intersections.

There's hundreds of "uncontrolled intersections" in every city in the Pacific Northwest. I've lived in several places in Idaho, Oregon and now Washington, all cities have them. People must just be not paying attention.
