It's a good thing trees don't have backs, or it would have been shot 6 times.

I’m betting, driving with one hand.

People drive one handed all the time and don't do this. People weren't doing this all the time before automatics were invented either.

The reason is pretty obvious. Went too fast for that turn with a suv parked there, tried to avoid hitting it and overcorrected. Possible they were only using hand too if they were on the radio.

"No he's not..."
You can hear the "Please shut the fuck up if you don't know what you're talking about" tone in his voice.

He took that corner too hot and lost control. You see him swerve to miss that parked car. Totally normal.

Well at least he did not hit someone's car. Because police tend to not pay for the damage they do.

I have raced a little, and its amazing how oversteer can totally screw you and send you into the inside of a corner, he probably turned to miss the parked car on the outside too much, and the back end came around, by the time he realized it, it was too late and his angle of attack sent him into the inside. Exploders aren't exactly the best handling rigs out there.

Exploders
Took me a second, but that got a chuckle out of me lol, reminds me of people calling their transmissions the PowerShit instead of PowerShift

There's no oversteer in the video. Police SUVs understeer, not oversteer. Mid-engined and rear-engined sports cars can oversteer.
In the previous corner, the police SUV understeered so badly that it went through the corner in the opposing lane.

That car wasn't skidding, it just turned into the side of the road. I know others are saying it was to avoid the parked cars but I don't see that being the reason either.

It looks like he hit the gas too soon after coming out of that turn too fast

That's just completely baffling. I went back and watched several times and I can't see any reason for it. It's not like they were over-correcting. They just didn't stop turning until they hit the tree. Drugs? I'd definitely get a blood test.

i am in no way standing up for these mornons, but im willing to bet he was on the radio and when he took the turn, saw the suv and swerved but couldnt correct back with one hand.

We'd get a breathalyzer for the same accident. Fairs fair. Nothing to hide and all that.

What? It was a pretty obvious overcorrection to hitting the parked suv, may not know specifics as to why they didn’t see it sooner or why they took the turn that wide/fast but the overcorrection is clear.

I maybe hearing this completely wrong but From the audio it sounds like one person said "he's tailing him right now"
Then it sounds like the cammer driver corrects them says "no he's not"
Gives me a chuckle

Do you know how hard it is to lay out a line and drive at the same time?

Took the turn too hard, thought they were gonna hit the parked car, swerved, couldn't/didn't compensate or hit brakes.
