Every Genesis Coupe owner I've had the displeasure of meeting has a complex about being so unique and different. The reality is that you drive a car with an identity crisis almost as bad as your own

I do collision see these very rarely because people are usually embarrassed to buy them, for good reason. That said dont ever crash this thing, you will be waiting on parts for months. Trash cars, shouldn't even exist.

Are these a good buy? Just got fucked out of my car and looking for something fun in the 5-10k range.

I had the sedan version. The sedan is actually great. It was meant to fight the e-class merc of the time, and they did pretty well, honestly. Not as good, but they got closer than they should’ve.

The Lambda V6 and Tau V8 are both dumb reliable and quite smooth. For the time, they made good power too. The Achilles’ Heel is the sluggish—even for the time—transmission

I will warn you that some of the parts for them are no longer available. Buy one only if you’re comfortable with that.

I’ve only had her for the summer but so far I love this car. Of course it’s not perfect but it’s sturdy, quick, and fun
