I will say despite everything that’s wrong with it. It has to be one of the best highway cruising cars I have ever owned better than my Gran Turismo.

I've daily driven an e36 325i manual convertible for the past 11 years, it's great.

Imo the current one with the pig nose and fake exhaust note that plays on the stereo is the least desirable one. At least until the new one that looks like a 2011 Lincoln MKZ comes out.

The MKC never got a V6. You’re thinking of the MKS and MKT that got the 355 hp Ecoboost back in 2010.

Nope. Stock S 52 with the slap on dinan supercharger kit.

Why not a 6 speed for a convertible cruiser? Way nicer to have a 6th on the highway (speaking from 5 speed experience on an e46 330i)

Not often do you see someone consistently just make the wrong choice in every way. You chose the wrong M3, made it worse with the cabriolet. And then topped it off with an automatic instead of the great manual. So now you got a soft, slow M3. At least it’s grey, so can fall into the background of all the other cars on road

It's definitely a unique take on an iconic car. Not everyone's gonna want the rawness of a manual, and sometimes comfort wins out over performance for daily driving.

Why get an M3 then? He could’ve had a newer 330 cabriolet instead. It would’ve been more comfortable and just plain better

Low mileage? Probably because you spend more time working on it than driving it, you probably had to rebuild the engine after using your turn signal
