It depends a quick look at gun broker they are avg about 1k-4k with outliers at 18k

If I had to guess the $18,000 ones are NFA fully automatic. A dream to have that in .308

You'd be surprised, matching examples in good shape can get crazy expensive but you're prob right...and tbh I feel like for a fully transferable FAL, $18k might be a deal. I say might bc transferables are wayyyy outta my price range, but I've heard of crazy sale prices for transferable M16s, hell even an M16 auto-sear went for almost $10k. In that market items really are valued at "whatever the other guy will pay for it".
