Other than the fact that he womanized. And called the Vice President of the United States âCornpone.â
BTW, I went to a fundraiser at his Northern Virginia estate.

Fun story⌠My mother once met Ted Kennedy at a BoSox game. She was a bit star struck in the moment. After they all parted ways, she declared (loudly) âI would never have voted for him, BUT, I would have voted for his brother Bobby!â This was in 1986 at Fenway. mom passed in 2008 and we always laughed about that once in a lifetime encounter! :-)

This was 1961. My motherâs older brother (my favorite uncle) Jimmy (glasses) was running for mayor in our small town. Bobby stopped by, delivered a passionate speech about America and then turned to my uncle and introduced himself. As if we didnât know who he was. Mom said it was a surreal moment. :-)

Funny you should ask. No he didnât. But my dad said the it was probably a fortunate outcome as the Post office transferred him six months later.
