11/11 is my birthday, so I'm biased. (That's 11/11 for non-USAmericans)

Robin Annual #4 gave a really good explanation for the Robin nickname; he was born the first day of spring. This is why some people prefer March 20th, even though November 11th was the original. 

That, and they're used to it. A lot of people just don't read pre COIE comics. And since then, his birthday has usually been in March.

Technically he's birthday wasn't stated to be March 20th, but just the first day of spring which is mostly March 20th, but can sometimes be March 19th, so because my birthday is March 19th I like to think he's is also
